i know exactly what you mean dont worry. around me machismo is still heavy nd wildly accepted. the woman takes care of the house nd blahblahblah the man is in charge.. in recent years women are finding their own way now and are able to hold their own. not saying machismo nd oppression doesnt exist anymore because OH LORD it def does.. but compared to how it was just 10 years ago u can see changes.. even in TV u can now see women fighting for their place. it just sucks because they want the general population to continue behave a certain way. They do not want outside forces to influence their way of thinking. but times have changed and with social media and technology being on the rise its changing the newer generations overall thought process and what they deem acceptable now. and ive seen women looking to have the person they wish they could be at least being portrayed in tv
