i love viki, but it takes longer to get the subs sometimes since its the fans subbing as opposed to IQIYI, GaGa and Netflix.. ugh dont get me started on Disney + I havent been inspired to even DL it since i already have netflix. the more apps that come out the more they make it harder to be able to support them all legally.

how can i word this nicely nd not offensive... when they make the women in several dramas annoyingly cringey / dense/weak.. what is to be expected lol. Are they supposed to get a pass cause they act cute? Majority of them do not scream YASSSSS WOMEN ...how hard is it to make them be at the same level as their male counterpart? A strong FL will even have u ignoring the ML ..but most times when they are strong, not much into the drama they are dulled down, overly emotional, or "weakened."
When the MLs are pricks nd morons everyone goes off on them sure but its never as bad as when the FLs act up. People get irritated, their eyes shift elsewhere. Elsewhere being another character that matches the MLs energy. Its become more and more common to see them ghost shipping the MLs, or in dramas that have both romance and bromance to see the bromance overpower the ML FL dynamics. especially when the FL's character is not too favorable.
Someone commented in another drama where everyone was also "hating" the FLs that its a cultural thing nd its the norm in how women are shown in cdramas. That people from other cultures were women are represented differently have a hard time clicking/accepting certain kinds of actions and behaviors.

I love LOVE LOVE crime/investigative dramas.. but I wish most wouldnt need to have romance. Dont get me wrong its okay but dont make them so annoyingly cringey lmao. The bromance was more entertaining. I couldve done without the love interests. Especially Jing Xuan.. she still screams sister vibes for me. I didnt read the books so I am not sure if they were in it or if it's for the sake of the drama.

Earth's character annoyed me with all the nagging.. I get the introvert part, I have a few friends like that so it doesnt bother me . That whiney/needy thing he had going on was not it. I just hope his character changes or has some growth soon.. i dont think I can handle 14 episodes of that. This doesnt feel like drama ill run to watch unless it gets better… ill keep it on the backend for a bit.
Santa's character on the other hand felt more natural and went with the flow.. i can already see where this plot is going. I was very happy seeing my baby Prem :D that was a good surprise. i didnt know he would show up here too
