because of this new revelation black pleads in trial to give him the maximum punishment, which isn’t for him to perish.. but its actually that he ceases to exist. so by removing himself from the world he can make sure Ha ram has a happy life since she’ll have never met—or shot—Joon.. all so that she wouldnt suffer and instead live a happy life and die old.
so because he no longer "exists" he prevented her parents car accident - which means she was born a normal child nd not half-human, half-reaper, she didnt see ghosts, she grew up normal like everyone else, she never met him, never shot anyone, and therefore married had kids with and etc.. she died a happy old lady.. (she did not marry Leo.. they stayed friends). On halloween Leo gives her this bracelet that she made for black once.. she put it on started to remember black... she dies the nxt day. Her soul leaves her body and finds black waiting for her. she says sorry for forgetting him nd they walk like lovebirds to the afterlife.
although the ending is happy i did not like it. it made it seem like black HAD to die for her to be happy.. so everything he did was for what? him ceasing to exist made NO SENSE to me. I will never understand how his disappearance means her parents never got into an accident nd her dad was never possessed.

I think some are just frustrated with Kuea’s lack of a backbone nd hiding his true self. no one really sees the point as to why he is doing it.
Lian is manipulative but we see he deeply cares for Kuea.. what I see triggering everyone is that he seems to be treating him more as his child than his fiancé.
I thought Kuea would have a stronger backbone. I am very disappointed.
