Slow burn but loved it❣️

Dazzling is a sweet coming-of-age drama with lots of heart. Li Yunrui is absolutely gorgeous! 🫠😍 The family and found family dynamics are what make the story shine. I’m a sucker for long term friendships that become true family and moving through traumatic events together. It starts a little slow, but stick with it, it's definitely worth the watch. I’m biased though, I’d watch anything with Little Lin/Sunny Smize. 🌞 ❤️ The healing vibe of this coastal town romance completely stole my heart!

Heartfelt story, shaky performances, and Too Many Ads

The cast is attractive and the themes of friendship, love, heartbreak and family are presented good enough but the acting could be stronger, and the product placements are quite noticeable, sometimes taking away from the scenes, making parts of the show feel like commercials. The chemistry between the main characters was believable but some scenes fell flat. While some of the performances felt uneven, I hope these actors continue to get opportunities as there’s clear potential, and I’d love to see how they grow in future projects.

Magnificent Multilayered Storytelling

Pachinko I and 2 shines with rich, multilayered storytelling, superb cinematography, and powerful performances. It’s an emotional rollercoaster that captures personal and historical struggles with such depth. Great performances by each main and supporting actors characters. I am a (K-drama) fan of Lee Min Ho and I believe this is his best work. I’m thrilled to see him cross into US TV and hope to more of him in the future. The series is heartbreaking but blends generations with grace, honoring its roots while delivering a visually rich experience.
