I'm just gonna stop by here every once in a while and leave a comment about how much I enjoy this drama and how…
I came to the comment section here yesterday for the first time, after watching ep 3 and wanting to share in the joy of this lovely show, and was so disappointed to see so many negative comments. Happy to read yours today. 😊
This series is so underrated and definitely the best Chinese "bromance" I've seen so far. So much chemistry between the two leads! And yes, tragic af, but overall so well done. I hope someday soon we can get a bromance from this country that doesn't end in tragedy because they really know how to tell a good story that grabs you by the heartstrings. 🥺
LMAO the way Fukuhara just snatched that penguin and ran off! I was so worried something would happen to the penguin on his way home. Surprised nothing did! Maybe Rui-kun was also imbued with good luck, at least temporarily.
This drama is sooooo cute and I'm so impatient for more.
This is so highly rated and I've heard such good things, but I had to put it on hold (3/5 eps) because Teh annoys the hell out of me. He's a terrible friend, has been shitty to both Oh-aew and Tarn. Love Oh-aew though. Hoping I can come back to finish it soon, and hopefully love it as much as many other people did.
They said he's a college student intern, not a TA, but I'm not sure how either would be creepy. They weren't talking…
Oh yeah, the homophobia was an absolute no. For me, there wasn't as much contrast in how it played out (super shitty either way) so I didn't comment on it.

I understand why they made the change of location, and consequently the character.
I watched it without subs and didn't understand everything so that's why I called him a TA/student teacher. Regardless, he's there to work and fulfill the role of a teacher in training (whereas tutor at a cram school or whatever is a much more casual situation). It's inappropriate for him to be asking "how far they've gone" and he knows it, whispering it like it's a taboo/gossipy topic. It'd be a different story if Aoki had been the one to bring up/enthusiastically share the topic.
Okano-sensei being changed to a TA/student teacher role in the drama made it creepier re: asking about Aoki's love life, vs in the manga where's he just a college kid/older brother figure at a tutoring center outside of school (if I remember correctly).
Also, what a shame they didn't keep the garbage disposal area when Ida said "maybe we should just leave him here" x'DDD
Thankful to all comments and warnings about the stepbrother storyline. Skipping all those scenes, I was still able to enjoy the cute ChengRen couple. :) I loved Li Cheng's comedic moments!
2? 3?/5 for ChengRen (cute, funny; some stupid moments, bad messaging, bad tropes) 0/5 for the other one
I love everything about this so far! Wish it were at least 10 episodes. Also, Togawa is 1000000% ikemen.
Also, Chu Ran is best girl. ❤️
