I was gonna drop this because Kenta annoys the crap out of me (I'm 3 eps in) but there are so many positive comments... I guess I'll give it another chance.
It's clearly shown and stated that a male character (not in the group) has a boyfriend. I was so happy to see it brought up so casually, and not just hinted at or with a euphemism, and it's not a big deal at all; they exist, it is what it is, and that's it!
One of the group members also mentions a male first love and ex-boyfriend.
Another group member says he has no interest in dating/romance. Hooray for aromantic rep!
It seems like WabiSabi shows recently are on iQiyi exclusively, like Dear Doctor and My Only 12% so right now I'm just assuming that Between Us will be the same.
Okay, yes, that bathtub kiss was awkward AF (esp. Jimmy's arm hanging on the side lol) and tbh I find that whole scenario kinda weird, but they do their cute scenes so well. :') ♥️
Some parts can be a little stiff or contrived, but this is one of the few series recently where I haven't found myself watching at 1.5x speed to get to the interesting parts lol. (The Eclipse is another. ♥️)
I'm still thinking about that Milk and Love cameo from ep. 2 ahhh!
I actually enjoyed episode 1 but episode 2 was a disaster and an embarrassment. 😑 Also, (the reason for) the whole "I'll make you fall in love with me" premise is..uh...dumb.
