I'm also looking for the ost from the end of episode 9. It might not be released yet? I think they also played the same song at the end of episode 6. I don't know Korean, but I can hear the english lyrics "here we are" in the song. I don't think it's any of the ost songs that are currently on YouTube.

LOL, I'm with you. Every time I see a new Mango TV drama, I think, "oh well, there's another show that I probably can't watch..."

If you watch this for pure romance, I think you'll be disappointed. I also watch dramas for romance mainly, and this one really disappointed me. This drama started out interesting but went downhill in the middle and never recovered the chemistry between the leads. The ending was "happy" but IMO boring. If you still want to give this drama a try, there are some kiss/romantic scenes in episodes 7, 11, and 17. There might be scenes in other episodes, but I can't remember. If you're looking for a really good pure romance, try My Fated Boy. It's my favorite drama.

I agree that the situations are different in this drama and My Fated Boy. But in this drama, both the ML and FL are supposedly highly intelligent programmers. They're supposed to have logical minds. IMO, anyone with half a brain wouldn't fall for the all the dumb things they're falling for without asking for an explanation to clarify things. I'm still watching solely for the interaction between the main couple, but I definitely don't like the screenwriting.

The ML should know not to help his ex-girlfriend at all with personal matters, he shouldn't fall for his ex's petty schemes, and he should always tell the FL exactly what is going on. His ex is a grown woman; if she can't handle things on her own, then tough luck, suffer on your own. This is where another drama (My Fated Boy) excels and where this drama fails miserably. In My Fated Boy, the ML would never let anyone get away with anything. He shut down the villiains immediately, was smart, and always put the FL first.

The main couple in this drama has good chemistry, but the screenwriting and storylines are extremely weak. They just keep writing in ridiculous misunderstanding after misunderstanding.

This series isn't related story-wise to My Neighbour Can't Sleep at all. I don't know why it's listed as a prequel because it isn't. The only relation between the 2 series is that they have common production/screenwriting, and the main lead of the other show has a small guest role on this show.

The videos (at least ep 10) do have English subs. Depending on what video player you use, you might have to turn the subs on. I used VLC, and it defaulted to subs off, so I had to turn them on.

This is the first show I've seen the ML in. For some reason, I always feel like he has this goofy look on his face in the show. When he's posed in a still shot for a publicity photo, he looks normal and handsome, but for some reason, when he's moving and talking, he looks goofy to me, lol. I don't know what it is exactly. It's hard to pinpoint what makes him look that way to me. I also feel that the main couple has an awkwardness to their interaction during romantic scenes.

"I Need Romance" (Thai version) is a remake of "I Need Romance 3" (Korean version). The basic plot is also very similar to My Fated Boy, but My Fated Boy isn't a remake. IMO, for I Need Romance, the Korean version (#3) was better than the Thai version.

Hey, if you stopped watching at ep 21, you should really finish it. Nothing bad happens because the main leads stick together through thick and thin, and they deal with the villain woman quickly. I don't like watching villains getting away with things, dumb misunderstandings that separate the couple, family members getting in the way, etc, but this drama didn't do that. That's why it was good throughout. I kind of felt the way you did as I was watching, it was getting better and better, and I was almost afraid to keep watching lest they ruin something, but they didn't! I felt that it was really good all the way through ep 26, 27 was ok (not because anything bad happened, just a little boring), and 28-29 were good and wrapped everything up (29 was a satisfying ending).

I agree with a lot of what you're saying. I thought the ML and FL had good chemistry toward the start of the series in the non-kiss scenes, but then it really fell short in the kiss scenes, so it kind of ruined it for me. I also felt it would have been better with a different FL who could really reciprocate the ML's feelings. Overall, I watch for the romance, so I didn't really like how the relationship developed or all the non-relationship storylines that much. But I liked the OST and have 6 songs from it on my playlist. Sometimes, the show is just okay but the OST is really good. I felt the same way about an older Taiwanese drama that I watched recently, "The Prince Who Turns into a Frog". The show is okay, but the OST is really good because it's mostly by 2 groups (one guy group and one girl group) who also happen to be most of the main characters in the show. I like mostly the ballads (goes with the romance theme). :)

If it's not working for you, try on a desktop computer. It seems to work on desktop, but not on mobile, at least for me.

I think if you watch with normal expectations, you'll be pleasantly surprised. :) I'm always suspicious of perfect 10 ratings because IMO, nothing is a perfect 10. For me personally, in any drama, there's always something (even if it's minor) that I could have improved upon or that I would have wanted to happen in a slightly different way. In this drama, every time I thought, "oh no, they're going to do something dumb again like other dramas," it just didn't happen, so I was happy about that. I watch dramas for the pure, idealistic romance, so I don't mind if characters are not exactly true-to-life or real. As long as they're real enough, and I can identify with them, I'm happy. :)

I think not as many people have watched this show. It currently has less than 1000 ratings, whereas other more popular shows from this year have 5000-10000 ratings. Also, I really love this show because of the great chemistry/romance/storylines that played out almost exactly like how I would have wanted if I had written them myself ;) , but I can see how someone who doesn't like romance as much could not appreciate this show as much.
