what an adorable, engaging, and SATISFYING show. i fucking love makjangs but this one had a very different feel, in a good way. the FL was amazing, her eyes were so emotional 🥲& her sisters acting was jaw dropping too - i think she deserves an award for how fantastic she played her evil role. the ending was perfect too - great job writernim

i wanted to come back here after unconsciously thinking about him all day, i started to think about his possible thoughts & how this probably wasn’t a spur of the moment action. What immense pain he must have felt, especially during christmas with his family… he was respectful until his last moment. he didn’t choose to end his life in his own home where his wife and children could have found him, he didn’t chose to mutilate his body for the sake of his family seeing him like that, he also waited until the holidays were over and before the new year started… obviously I feel terrible for his surviving family & i can’t imagine the pain they are feeling - but i also feel so heartbroken for Lee Sun Kyun himself for how helpless he must have felt. I really hope this doesn’t come off as disrespectful in any way. I’m devastated for this loss, he was such a special person to me & to many. 💔
