Because it started with the best expectations, had a fantastic cast, beautiful music, costumes and cinematography but the story became trash after about 15 episodes. One of the villains (who was ridiculous and extremely toxic and the acting of the actor portraying him was awful) suddenly started occupying the entire screen time, with some episodes having almost no scenes with the ML. The lead actor was literally demoted to a guest star. The romance was also a bait, it went to the side characters and nothing happened with the main couple, barely two weak hugs. Oh and pretty much everyone died meaningless deaths. Only one side could escaped the cruel fate. Note: this was the end of a trilogy and in every chapter, all main characters perished. Just... Garbage.
In a year that K-Dramas are in a HUGE slump, this one is standing out. I don't know why this is so underrated. 7.8??? 🫨WHAT. THE. F.
I absolutely love it. ❤️I love the story, I love the characters and especially the chemistry between the ML and FL. ✨There's great cinematography and music.👌 I don't get it, why do people roast it?? 😒Yeah, admittedly they should have cast a completely different actress for the SFL, but for me since I couldn't care less about her part, it doesn't affect my viewing experience. 🤷
Anyway, I'll keep watching this with excitement and anticipation. ✨This is the first time I'm seeing Kang Tae Oh in a ML role and I'm happy with his incredible performance ☺️
PS: The song at the end of ep3, it reminds me sooo much of a song from "The Rebel" aka the best Sageuk drama of all time.🥹 Definitely a bonus in my book. 😁
I'm actually only seated for the downfall of the trio. 😡
Two obsessed doormats and a poisonous She-Devil. They only deserve the cruelest fate, similar to what the villains got in "The Glory" ending but worse if possible.😈
Just because you're damaged doesn't mean you can ruin other people's lives and step on LITERAL corpses to get on top. 😠Nothing will make me sympathise with the FL or the ML/SML. They're all toxic trash. 🤮
I can't wait for their Karma to find them.
Poor Heo In Gang. I feel so bad for him. 😭And the ex-baseball player. The true victims of the witch and her little followers.
Apart from "Sword and Beloved" and the two dramas you mentioned, he also dies in "Stand By Me" & "The Promise of Chang'an". In "Love and Redemption" and "Immortal Samsara" he also dies but then gets revived and we get to see his hard earned very happy endings.
Me after seeing this is from the same screenwriter as "Sword and Beloved": 😰☠️
