I think the difference in ratings had more to do with the time slots and the network it was aired rather than quality. While You Were Sleeping is on a weekday and airs in SBS, a terrestrial free channel while The Package is aired at 11:00 pm on Fridays and Sat in JTBC, a paid cable channel. Although my Korean is not that good, I visit DC gall and Naver to check drama reviews and The Package has gotten really good feedback from start to finish. Some people also say they watch it via VOD because of the late broadcast.
