@Raconteur, Well super delayed but No one said anything about being a bad show in terms of acting. I literally started with I adore LMSY. I really adore LMSY, but having read the novel before starting this show makes me dislike this show so much. We barely have good GL shows these days, with so much eyes on queer media, having representation where 1. FL kisses the other without consent 2. Drugging FL is totally completely normalized (& how did LM's character ask to be with SY after this is something I cant fanthom) - does so much harm to representation than good.
They changed the characters so much, (I would have understood if they wanted to up the drama but this is literally a character assassination) and the pacing is so off , oh boy. Really hoping LMSY get a project without change next time coz change really knows how to butcher everything good, first affair, now this

Fr @Heekie1000. I din like how they started the show with the no-consent thing and also changed the whole backstory with the childhood connect and LM's character always liking (potentially?) SY's character. Seems like alot of changes from the og story which wasnt that bad in terms of drama etc
I've really liked LMSY chemistry on-off as partners and friends IRL but boy, I really despised how this show started almost predatory. What's with no consent? I ended up reading the story and it wasnt like that in it, at all. LM's character was very gentlewoman in there. I hate how the dramas represent consent like this, specially knowing how many eyes are on queer media
