Even though I haven’t been interested in either plots enough to complete the dramas, I am IMPRESSED with the little dialogue I saw between characters in Search WWW. Witty. I personally haven’t seen that much sassy (but still smart), dialogue like that in kdramas before.
He was great in "Jealousy Incarnate" and "Chicago Typewriter". Along with the little I've seen of him in "Reply 1994" and "Strongest Deliveryman". I hope he gets more variety of roles so he can stand out more.
Well, okay. But there are countless romcoms without any original story or ending, so I don't see this as a problem.
Yeah. Every genre has cliched repetitive tropes. Especially revenge, romcoms, murder mystery thrillers, law, even melodramas, and makjangs, etc. There’s always some repeating.
We have to find dramas with the performers and plots which interest us most to tolerate the repetitive tropes. At least some dramas transcend.
Personally, I hope it doesn't devolve into a sappy soap like HCCC. The plot is tight so far.
Hometown Cha Cha Cha was always meant to be a slice of life drama with heart and some comedy. The life lessons were around from the start. Hidden backstories were simply slowly revealed. That drama was never meant to be a full on comedy...
I like her chemistry with all leads, except for maybe Song Kang. (I never continued Forecasting Love and Weather.) But I adore WWWSK's chaotic office comedy (it was hilariously entertaining) and When the Weather is Fine's small town setting with both troubled and endearing characters (this was calming and healing). I hope "Love in Contract" is closer to comedy than slice of life this time, or even a mix of the two (like Hometown ChaChaCha or Yumi's Cells).
I've missed RomComs. Aside from Yumi's Cells, 2022 RomComs have not interested me.
Me not needing a second season of it makes perfect sense, okay-dokey maybe just for me. I did not enjoy it that…
That's fine for peoples personal preferences, but my comment is just about those claiming another season is unnecessary or only a cash grab (which, ofc it is, every project technically is). The story wasn't complete, so it makes sense there'd be a Season 2. The same way "Sweet Home" and "All of Us are Dead" are also getting S2. Personally, I would even say Squid Game's success has expanded the audience of Korean Netflix Originals. Some people are just being a bit too negative in this comment section. I would rather be grateful for Squid Game's success, it's increased our changes of getting second seasons to incomplete Korean series Netflix usually take forever to green light.
There must be a reason the other kdramas are not available in the U.S on Disney+.
But Snowdrop is available, so clearly they plan on making them available. For now we should just be patient and wait. Other countries hasve to wait all the time.

I feel number of episodes on network dramas (jtbc, mbc, sbs, etc) may play a factor. Many storylines tend to drag or rush in parts.
