Omg yes! Watching, I thought it would be nice to see, if there’s no time travel and she remembered her past life all at once, as she discovers who she is now with new found drive and she lost. Then ML’s dreams of that life, clearly inspire him to express sides of himself he suppressed to survive. It goes so well with their character developments.

That watch is for more than for us understanding their emotions. They were desperate to understand and fix themselves as treatment, especially Dongman. (Also showed him conflicted and the watch didn’t match what Dongman thinks he is feeling.)
Instead, they’ll just realize experiences and conversations with each other will bring out the emotions they want to feel. It’s more of a plot device.

Wish we got to see more of their relationship but I guess “when you know you know”. A few more episodes before the ending, maybe meeting his family along with meeting each others friends, would’ve been nice. But the ending itself was perfect.
