Holy shit, this writer is not f*cking around, this is truly messed up, i feel so bad for ji soo An and jae in…
I know right! I'm so sad for An and Ji Soo! Up until the last possible second, I was holding out hope that SM wasn't responsible. They laid out a lot of clues that he was capable of doing something like that but I didn't want to believe that he could because he was such a sweet older brother to An, a loving son to his mother and kind friend to Ji Soo. There really is no way for any of the characters to move on from this.
This movie is my first among every Itazura Na Kiss adaptations and I honestly really loved it! Yes, maybe those…
This was a really good version! I hope they do a sequel. I really suggest you check out the 2005 Taiwanese version "It Started With A Kiss" and the sequel "They Kiss again." The leads had huge chemistry!
Okay, I do not intend to offend anyone, but I'm very surprised seeing the results. For the best drama, I didn't…
Completely agree. I haven't watched TSHLYE yet but I've watched the original Japanese version and several of the shows on this list. Life On Mars, Mr. Sunshine, Prison Playbook and Just Between Lovers all got beaten out by TSHLYE for several categories. It's just not adding up for me.
Do you really want to know? Well if you do then read on... They actually both die...the male sacrifices himself…
I'm happy the leads got a happy ending but I felt so bad for the Green Snake, Xiao Qing. She was trampled on the whole series. I really felt like she loved Qi Xiao more than he loved her.
Does anyone know where I can watch ep 30-34? Even though the episode is listed, there are no links for it on https://productiveprocrastination.site/category/chef-fang/ or the link was for dailymotion and the video has been taken down.
As I understood in the end the main girl kills the main guy. Well similarly in the Korean one- they both die.…
I just finished this drama. It had been on my list for a while so I wanted to watch it before the Korean one. And I can tell you it was excellent. It was made in 2002 so some things are a bit dated but the main leads have a lot of chemistry. It is a very Japanese drama. From what I've read in the comments, the characters might not be as likable as their Korean counterparts. I haven't watched the Korean one yet so I don't know if the main character's reasoning were similar. In this drama, Yuko killed Ryo because she was told by Kotoko (a policewoman at her brother's precinct) that Ryo had only gotten close to her to get revenge for her brother, Kanzo, killing his father. She basically made it seem like Ryo planned to kill her brother. Kotoko didn't tell Yuko that Ryo was actually her brother because she had promised Kanzo that she would never reveal the truth. She had also misunderstood Kanzo's and Ryo's complicated relationship and assumed Ryo wanted revenge. When Ryo sent his friend to bring Kanzo to his hideout, Yuko cam e instead and killed him thinking that he had been trying to lure Kanzo there to kill him. Yuko reads the letter that he was going to give to Kanzo and finds out that he actually loved her, that they are siblings and that he was thankful to Kanzo for raising her. Then she kills herself.
That's why I said it's a LEGO version of Luther, Shin Ha Kyun acts more like Grouchy Smurf than Luther (wearing…
I feel like you're really over simplify his role in the drama. Yeah he was a supporting character but to liken him to grass essentially a bit part status is a bit much. Again, I haven't seen him in anything else and to me, based off what I have seen, I believe he is a good actor. An actor can be good in one drama and maybe not so good in another drama. And as I've said numerous times I haven't seen him in anything else, so I'm going to judge him fairly when I watch him in this. Let's agree to disagree.

Firstly, I wouldn't say he was completely stereotypical as autism (I'm going to say autism and not the "r" word) is a spectrum. Having a brother who is autistic and meeting different people on different ends of the spectrum, I would say that the character he portrayed can be seen in real life. Also I think acting in general is pretty hard, and that it's especially hard playing someone with a disability, be that mental or physical. You may have thought those quirks weren't much, but I still thought it took a lot effort. For that, I'm going to give him his props. Secondly, I haven't seen him in anything since, so I'm going to watch this with a fresh pair of eyes and see how good he is.
