Masterpiece
A solid 10/10. This is a coming of age drama that only China could have created with such mastery. Solid storyline, good direction, tridimensional and human (imperfect) characters, a main character that is a true teenage going through all the struggles and doubts of her age, brilliant performances and a stunning cinematography.
I love how this drama shows how we influence and are influenced by the ones that surround us and how much decisions can change our lives.
Warning for those who haven’t watched: this show ISN’T about ships at all. Don’t watch it expecting to be a romance because it’s not, it’s about growing up and the challenges and people we meet on the way. I promise if you watch it with an open mind and you’ll be TOTALLY amazed.
