omg the song in the scene where ahn bo hyun and little shin hye sun are running in see you in my 19th life, what’s the title, shazam is giving me nonsense.
i’m going to miss this show so much. i’ve said all i wanted to say about the couples and i still believe it lmao, it was such a ride, i’m so sad, i hope something good comes along and fills the gap.
Hmm, today's episode was okay, but it was too slow, like it was really a filler episode, and the ending annoyed me, because yet another reason to make Dr Cha remain by In Ho's side instead of leave.
Omg! I love episode 13's preview because Soo-Hyuk will feel that pressure. It will give him the much-needed kick…
Here's my thought so far on all the other relationships shown.
Yoo Ri is pathetic right now, but I think she will fully fall in love with her husband as time passes and her feelings for Soo-Hyuk dies down. She's feeling intensely because, well, she was two-timing, and her other relationship really just ended, so it's understandable that she's going through such turmoil, even though I think it's tacky and really selfish to be acting like your ex is the one that got away before your wedding. It's always funny to me how people want to get married and then get married/engaged only to be disrespectful towards that relationship.
U-ri is allowed to develop feelings for whomever she likes, so it makes sense that U-ri falls uncontrollably like that. Her personality is simple and wholehearted. I really don't think Sang Jin and her would get together because he sees her as an adorable cute kid.
Sang Jin and his ex aren't getting back together, I believe rather they can be friends now, and that's great for them. I'm all for being amicable with your ex. I have an ex who is one of my closest friends now.
Bo Ra and Yu Jung's friend, whom they went to for the wedding shoot and stuff, they're destined to become like Yu Jung and her husband. I think it's what happens when people have this high hope for weddings being the start of something new when it's mostly just the same but now legally binding.
Bo-mi and Jin Ho annoy me so much 😂 I skip their scenes. First of all, Jin Ho was so cringe at the club when they first met. All his lines made me want to barf. He was just too much. I also don't see their relationship lasting, it's too puppy love, and outside of reality, like if reality comes knocking down on them, it might be too hard, cause at the end of the day, just love isn't enough to keep a relationship thriving.
Yu Jung and her husband, an old married couple who have settled; I feel bad for her, tbh because she deserves to be shown more love. Instead, she gets a pitiful alms from him when it's beneficial to him alone like he doesn't care about her as she does him, and that's so freaking sad, plus that conversation he had with Ju Hwan when Bo Ra found out he was cheating also, cemented him as a douchebag. I think it might not be shown here, but one day in the future, Yu Jung might leave him when she's had enough of self-sacrificing and compromising.
Omg! I love episode 13's preview because Soo-Hyuk will feel that pressure. It will give him the much-needed kick to the ass to stop beating around the bush when it comes to expressing himself.
On the other hand, I know Bo-ra isn't going to give that A-hole another chance, and it really is going to be a misunderstanding that will build more beautiful scenes. Hahaha. I'm so delighted!
Acting like Africa is a country, and not a continent with 54 countries, thus offending Africans, with tired thinking that Africans don't have access to clean water, and because of willful ignorance leading to the male lead character being a person with a savior complex, because he didn't even go so-called "Africa" because he actually wanted to. Some fake-ass Africa in the opening scene and Hakuna mata music from Lion King, and like everything they say about Africa in general on that show. Acting like Korea doesn't have poor people or impoverished people. Like how does Africa not have access to clean water, but the ML had access to the internet and could have video calls??? So they have engineers that can do that but not dig boreholes? Then the tired old yellow filter Hollywood likes to employ on countries they think are lower/poorer than them? Anyways, IMO what they did in Shooting Stars is worse than this because it goes on for more than one episode and shows how disconnected all races are when it comes to negros in general.
On the other hand, Bo Ra has proven to be a superfluous character, and I can't even put it beyond her to say something so offensive in a flippant manner because she's just that self-absorbed and sprouts a lot of nonsense in her bid to be understood.
i'm gagged and i'm being very petty, but some people complaining about the insensitivity now had nothing to say last year when shooting stars was airing with that whole africa debacle.
anyways two wrongs don't make a right, and i hope the writers actually do better.
