How do they make the romance feel so natural omg?!?!! I love their blended family dynamic so much I hope they keep it till the end!!! The Thailand storyline kinda bored me and felt like it was moving away a little from the main storyline but ep13 onwards was pretty good. That slap was also so satisfying I think I rewatched it like 50 times.

I'm wondering if he'll have to step down from his CEO position and go back to cultivating the roses so he can export them through Typhoon trading. Even in the first episodes they keep mentioning it so I'm wondering if that was a foreshadowing. I imagine the person who would then become CEO is Mi-So which I think she's fully capable of.
Really liked the beginning when I started the show in July but suddenly stopped at ep10 and have had a hard time picking it back up for some reason which is a shame because I really love supernatural shows.

I loved how explicit they were especially with the abuse and showed how much it had affected Hui-su even once the husband was dead and she was free. The amount of pain and suffering someone must inflict on another human being for them to wish for their death was well portrayed in my opinion. I actually found the first few episodes quite hard to get through because they felt so intense and real. Hui-su's portrayal was definitely my fav and the actress was fantastic she portrayed that relief and freeing feeling from abuse perfectly. The way the sister and mother dug their own grave was so satisfying to see. The trios friendship was a really pleasant surprise and I'm glad they kept it platonic as having a romance sub-plot would've made no sense for this show especially in 8eps. The whole casting to me was perfect and not a single persons acting let me down. I was already familiar Jeon So Nee and knew I'd love her role, but wow Lee You Mi was just phenomenal! In a scene where she kept a straight face while crying was so fascinating like how did she do that!
The cinematography was also a nice surprise and the way the husbands murder was filmed all in one shot made it feel eerily real but that is what I signed up for. Through the trailer it was unclear how Lee Moo Saengs character was going to fit into the storyline but they made it work really well. His acting was also really good you can tell him and the team must've put a lot of thought into how they'd want the characters personality and trauma to be portrayed through his mannerisms.
At the end I cried out of happiness knowing they had found some peace after being haunted by abuse in their life. After going through that suffocating feeling for years just being able to wake up whenever you want, eat what you want, go out when you want and do the things you love is enough.
Really promising premise but poorly executed. There was something about the progression of the story that just didn't quite flow right. Him collecting evidence felt more like a stalker than love interest tbh. They had too little insignificant interactions in high school to make it believable that even after all those years he'd still be so madly in love when they hadn't really gone through any significant hardship together before. Cinematography was pretty good though and they nailed the cold winter aesthetics to fit how tragic the story is but I can barely remember the OST.
When I first watched this as it was airing, I was really hooked in the first episodes but by the 6th episodes I was thinking about dropping. For some reason I kept watching though and haven't regretted it all! The relationship was so lovely and sweet, and the comedy made me crack up so many times. The OST was top notch to me and is still one I listen to till this day. Jang Naras acting was definitely my favourite though she was perfect for the role! I understand this shows isn't for everyone but it's a 9/10 for me so I wonder why it's such a low rating. It definitely reminded me of 2016-2018 kdramas. Anyways, if you enjoy slice of life, comedy and a really cute giddy main couple I'd recommend giving this a try!

Definitely one of the top 3 this year for me too! They really nailed it with the cast and the characters feel really dynamic! Loved Kim Min Ha in Pachinko and she did amazing here too while I've watched Lee Jun Ho before too, either his acting has improved even more or his character here is just much more dynamic. Didn't have any expectations when first announcements came out but after watching the trailer I was immediately drawn to them and their chemistry! The story definitely feels very well planned out too and omg does it stress me out sometimes. An 8+ for me so far too!
Something I really love so far between the leads is I can feel how deeply they care for each other and have since the beginning. The way Tae-poong quickly used his hands to cover Mi-seons head out in the rain, how she taught him things about trading, how he made her business cards and bought a pink case to go along with it, how she immediately told them to come live with her family instead of sleeping in the cold office in the middle of winter. It's these small actions that really touch my heart. I can't wait to see how their relationship will blossom into a romantic one!
I don't usually comment but the 7.8 rating is WAY too low for how amazing this movie was! (but then again I know mdl ratings can be a little... odd sometimes) Production was phenomenal, acting was top tier and it felt like everyone fit their role really well.
