They left out Eve and her mom talking after knowing about each other and then they killed off her character, are you kidding me? What’s that ending? He killed himself?? Are you shitting me?? I was so invested in these last 2 episodes, I was actually excited for them to drop, I regret it so much now because that actually hurt. Writer-nim never write such a script ever again, that was not okay

idk maybe if the episodes were an hour long and got into the details then it would have been great

the king pissed me off so badly, he could not handle a strong woman. She helped him raise up and at every chance he got, he tried his best to make her fall and she still got up and continued loving him until death. My problem here is the big year jumps and how they can just abandon characters, Yeongsil is a main character but her story ended halfway through, Chae Ryeong seems to have had a redemption but what was that last smirk? Also what happened to her when they all got old, did they leave her in the palace when the monarch retired? She was a Queen! Cha Jooyoung played her role really well. I cried the last moments of ep12, thinking how the drama has historical facts got me imagining what it was like back then
