If people misunderstand the FL's and give biased judgements that is their issue. Anybody with empathy and a little bit of sense to think from the perspective of the FL will know that nothing she did is wrong. Spinning delusional conspiracies about actors and actresses for the ignorance and hypocrisy of the audience is pointless

The above comment criticizing Allen makes no sense as if he was narcissistic he would never take roles where his character is mostly suffering and meets tragic ends. I don't what kind of delusion these fans have.

Like, I feel like I'm seeing more and more comments that don't have empathy, think from the perspective of characters and just want every character to be 240 iq geniuses who does everything right. And another trend is how people have started to call 'over acting' as acting and subtle acting and expressing through eyes as stone faced not even thinking for one moment whether people can react so unrealistic in real life.

Well, she's trying to hold on to the hope that not everyone who was close to her from when she was young were liars and evil. People are having too much 'smart ass' energy forgetting how clueless and miserable everyone would if someone was in the same situation as her in real life.

Well, I did get heated up and was rude. The FL might have figured out she needed the seal to survive but her asking directly is a death sentence. It's so sad to see how dumbed down some people are to think palace politics is like a cup of tea. The most intelligent people die like flies when it comes to palace politics. People who are asking why is the ML doing so much just to protect her, well his enemies aren't frickin idiots that they can be easily defeated. This ain't your overpowered protagonists where the FL and ML keeping winning against low iq villians. No matter how much the ML thinks, he cannot really estimate how much enemies he is against, how many enemies are looking at him like vultures to see if the FL could be his weakness. If the ML showed how much he loved the FL, the Empress Dowager would haved killed her with the spies she planted within a day or two. ML can't do anything about it because he cannot be with her all the time as he also has to run a country. The only reason the Dowager didn't kill FL was because she thought FL was not a threat as the ML doesn't respect her. And that's how it was in the palace, they had to do all this just to survive one day. The amount of comments that treat palace politics as some power Rangers battle against villians where they go pew pew pew is frickin hilarious.

Lol, even the most calculative and intelligent people die in palace politics. If the ML didn't show that he didn't value the FL, the Empress Dowager would have eliminated the FL using spies. And they clearly show how it unfolds for audience to understand and you people still don't get it. What I've been seeing in many comments on MDL is that they expect characters to always make the right choices, mind read what other characters are thinking forgetting they can't see what audience see. I see so many comments like "I don't like this drama because a character made a negative choice" and I'm like mann, they can make mistakes and react differently than what you expect

Well, if there is palace politics there's no way it would be without poison. And it looks cliche because stories are written only about the 1 in 100 or 1000 guys who survive the poison. Poison in palace warfare is equal to sword in normal warfare

Both sides are fair game. He wants the FL to hate him rather than finding out the person whom she considers equal to her father is a villian. That would shatter her more. And there's nothing wrong with her reaction as well.

I think even if the master didn't ask him to keep it a secret he still would have kept it a secret as he knew her heart would broken much worse of she learns that the guy whom she considers as a father is a villian.

This is exactly what thinking in black and white means lol. Why can't you even understand the basic things that people can be smart at one point and dumb at another. Why the flying heck wouldn't characters make bad decisions? Are you watching a drama with robots programmed to make good decisions? The amount of stupidity. People change their decisions within seconds. There doesn't have to be an established reason and I have given the reason as to why the emperor did it. You want the writers to treat you as utterly dumb to explain everything which can be easily understood if you use your brain.

But that doesn't mean he'd be fine with two powerful generals marrying. Do you even realise how ruthless it was before? No matter how great a general was, kings didn't hesitate to exterminate their whole families if they felt threatened. This king is so tame compared to mad kings who were in our world. Many Emperors would have already killed the female lead instead of giving options. He is actually same compared to many Emperors. Stop treating characters as black and white lol.

Well, from the Emperor's perspective it is a death sentence for him to allow two great generals to marry as they can both control a huge army under one banner and cause a rebellion. Most of these Emperor's are paranoid as they can never guess who's out to get their heads.

I can't say it much simpler words. In Fated Hearts and The Double both the leads were attracted to each other, it was mutual attraction. In Fight For Love only the ML is attracted to her. She didn't get attracted to him for the most of the show. How the heck can you even expect chemistry when it isn't mutual. Such one dimensional thinking

I don't think you can expect sexual tension when he is one sidedly loving her for the most part and she doesn't develop feelings until later. You can't expect sexual tension when it isn't mutual
