I'm still amazed how different vibe with me the 1 and 2 seasons. Even after 10 years I feel this purity of dreams and friendship from the first season. Being 17 years old I felt so emotional just watching how these kids enjoying what they're doing. But somehow I feel the same being 27 years old now. On the other side the second season just does make me feel nothing. Just young idols singing and dancing.
What a ride it was! The more years are passing the more I fall in love with 90's Jdramas. It was strange and naive in parts but it has a soul and I was finishing every episode with a smile and warmth in my heart.
And Sorimachi Takashi! Thank you for being so passionate, wild, young and sexy! We all needed this :D And maybe he wasn't the whole soul of the show because at the end I loved all teachers and students (even the annoying ones) but he breathed life in this story. And I feel sorry for actor who played Onizuka in the remake, it must've been a big pressure after Sorimachi's perfomance.
P.S. Onizuka x Fuyutsuki - onelove! I know I'm late for 20 years but I root for their couple in real life! :D
It was a lot of events to cut, so they did a great job for a two hour movie! Tho I think it was a little more childish than the other versions. I guess they just needed to exaggerate everything to make all characters understandable in such a short time. And it was the most emotional Zhi Shu/Naoki version we've ever seen, the boy just couldn't take his eyes off from Xiang Qin for the whole movie))) That's probably why I loved their couple so much, the chemistry could been seen undeniably. Definitely, the movie will go straight in my list of favorite "Itazura" versions)))) P.S. Darren is also the most handsome version of Ji Shu / Naoki in my opinion))) Sorry not sorry)
What happened to seok min? Did he quit being a neurosurgeon and why?
The same question. Firstly I thought he just changed the hospital but now I have no idea what happened. But he did operated the violinist with Song Hwa and Sun Bin in episode 2 so I guess he's still working as a doctor.
I'm feeling like the only one Sun Bin and Dragon shipper, it's almost impossible to find a comment about them (: But this episode have finally fed us some good stuff))) They made me worry about their relationship, but their reconciliation was worth all the trouble. And I really miss Suk Min a lot, he enlivened every scene in which he appeared. Now give us a kiss please!!! P.S. Ik Sun continues to disappoint me. After all, she's not as bold as she tried to seem. But on the other hand, she and her relationship with Jun Wan have room to grow, this is also would be interesting to see.
No one will say a word about Neurology Resident's couple but they'r so cute! I was afraid that there won't be any development after the awkward confession at the end of s1, but luckily they are together! I hope to see more scenes with them!
This drama is a little like a dream for me. The story is very simple, sometimes irrational and protracted but I loved it with all my heart. Something about this drama that really pulls at your heartstrings. That beautiful ost, HER smile and HIS sad eyes... they just bewitched me. If not the actors and their strong chemistry I've never made it to the final episode. But I made it and only good memories will remain for sure. I'm really going to think about it like about a beautiful dream that I had at breezy spring night.
There was no reason to kill seungjun. Why the hell they have to kill him༎ຶ‿༎ຶ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ༎ຶ‿༎ຶI…
For drama's sake, for drama's sake that no one needs ... To be honest, if someone had to die of the two of them, I would prefer Se Ri. Anyway the main couple was lost in the first half of drama and I used to rewind all their scenes. But Alberto and Dan... I wasn't so invested in imaginary ship for a very long time.
Really sad that Code Blue has came to an end. Also, I really wish to believe that Aizawa likes Shiraishi and Shiraishi…
I felt it too, every of 9 points... Tho I believe that Aizawa/Shiraishi is real and it was conscious desire of creators to keep them subtle. May be they feared that romance would overshadow the more important ideas. And honestly if Aizawa/Shiraishi did get an open finale it would overshadowed EVERYTHING.
After s3 finale I was 80/20 sure that these two is a thing. There still was some uncertainty. But it was that "flower moment" in the end of the movie which convinced me for 100%. The focus on that flowers was too evident and absolutely pointless unless it was a hint to Aizawa/Shiraishi.
It would be great to get a comment from the creators or actors on this subject, but I don't think it would ever happen...
I want to point out how fitting they chose the actors for the decisive situations. Park Seo Joon for the first fluttering feelings. Lee Dong Wook for more mature crucial scene about marrige and it's consequences. Yoo Yeon Seok for final, still dramatic, but more light conversation and deliberated proposal. P.S. I finally got hyped on Park Seo Joon after all these years of ignorance!
I just wanted to say thank you for making this list, even though it's not so big. Compared to endless senseless lists like "what should I watch next", or "what should I drop", or "who is the most beautiful TWICE member" and etc. it is a really interesting thematic compilation!
It was "Koizora" which I mistakenly downloaded more than 10 years ago and this movie has opened a whole new world for stupid and lost, sixteen year old me. It was Miura's Hiro and Aragaki's Mika who made me fall for asian culture and now, you saying me that that bright boy with beautiful smile is gone, seems ridiculous and unreal. Well... Hiro used to dream of becoming the sky after the death, maybe Haruma's there now too. Goodnight, sweet prince. I hope you're well now.
I really didn't get the Winter Garden ship throughout the season but... ep 12 has changed my mind totally! I think the problem was that we never saw Jung Won's affection towards Gyeo Wool and it kinda confused me. But after his wordless confession and that amazing kiss I finally felt how much Jung Won liked Gyeo Wool. So here I am on this ship ready to sink.
am I the only one who doesn't ship Ahn Jeongwon with Jang Gyewol?also, why'd they do Sukhyung's mother dirty :--(
Nah, I don't ship them either. Gyeo Wool literally doesn't know anything about him and still having some kind of high-school girl's obsession. And Jung Won just looks generally uncomfortable in all scenes with her. Just don't see how this ship's gonna work.
And Sorimachi Takashi! Thank you for being so passionate, wild, young and sexy! We all needed this :D
