Actually I haven't seen any "man-woman love" between them. The girl didn't want to share brother with another girl and cultivated this obsession, which she mistook for "love". The boy, tormented by guilt, made himself think that he's in love too. Sometimes it seemed that he just didn't want to be rude by rejecting her "feelings". Anyway the movie was average. Made it only for Yoo Yeon Seok's performance.
The side stories was kinda meh. Not really scary, just typical screamer things and no suspense at all. But I loved the main plotline with psycho and kidnapped girl. It was a fresh idea for horror and the only one indeed scary story of all 5. Yoo Yeon Seok just slayed this role. My only regret is that there was too little time for these two characters, they had so more potential.
It was a looong ride but I really liked this drama. The plot wasn't fresh or unique but still interesting and the characters were very likeable. Tho the final seemed not well thought out because of too stretched plotlines. In the end it's still 100-episodes-long family drama, don't expect amazing dramaturgy. P.S. Kim Jae Young is an amazing discovery, I need more main roles for him!
According to reviews, I expected something incredible, but in fact it turned out to be a mediocre action movie. Not really a thriller or suspense. The plot twist wasn't particularly shocking either. There was nothing special in the main character too, and I adored her more before the plot twist happened. Finished it only for that badass guy's perfomance. If they're going to make a sequel, he somehow needs to be there, because the guy carried 70% of entire movie.
The drama was too short for me to get attached but it definitely had a potential. Especially I liked the male actors' perfomance. Their sad eyes almost broke my heart. This thing just needed to be filmed in normal 16 episodes.
Do the main leads (Seo Woo Jin & Cha Eun Jae ) have a happy ending?
I think it's pretty clear that Woo Jin and Eun Jae had happy ending. Also there is an interview with Ahn Hyo Seop where he was asked how did Woo Jin react when Eun Jae came back to Doldam after 10 days. And he answered something like "Woo Jin was upset, but after looking at Eun Jae's smile all the madness went melting." So these two ended together :)
It seemed to me that most of the viewers didn't like the drama precisely because of the finale. But IMO it was maybe the best part of all this. It was so fresh and for once we got the outcome that 80% is real. The girl was too damaged mentally and the chances that she'd try again and again were too high honestly. Some sweet happy end just didn't fit the story. Tho I enjoyed the drama, it was quite dark and intriguing, well kept in suspense, there're even decent plot twists. I'd like to see more series like this made in Japan. Once they did really great suspens dramas and this one looked like a glimpse of that times.
It is very typical korean romcom, nothing outstanding but nothing really bad either. Still too childish for my taste and I got boring very fast. Tho the second couple saved the drama. They had some issues but anyway gave more fresh and interesting vibe than the main couple.
This just crossed my mind but maybe they're going to shoot season 3? As far as I know, the drama has very good ratings. And they constantly mention some Kim Sa Bu's project, and that Do In Bum and Kang Dong Joo are going to return to Doldam next year... Doesn't it look like a foundation for s3? Because I really don’t see how they will fit all the events in the last episode.
Wow, they really left all season's cliffhangers for the last episode. Anyway judging by the preview, we'll get our couple, though I'm not sure how hard they will go with romance, I hope there will be at least a kiss. And I loved the interactions between Do In Bom and So Woo Jin in ep15! I want Woo Jin call him hyung one day :) Still one episode will be not enough to tie up all the ends, I really hope we'll get the special.
Ep 14 finally completed Woo Jin's storyline and I'm lowkey happy for him. But honestly I don't believe that we'll get proper romance anymore. Like there're plenty sweet moments between Woo Jin and Eun Jae (his reaction for Dr. Yang's words about Eun Jae sleeping with Woo Jin WAS EVERYTHING). But their relationship is still uncertain and it kills me. I'm not even sure that Eun Jae has romantic feelings for Woo Jin because her reactions for him too unclear and I can't 100% say that they're romantic. Well we just have to survive the last week...
Not a great drama but the chemistry between the leads is A+. The first half was dynamic and ardent but the last episodes were full of drama and suffering which I rewound endlessly.
Ahh just let my boy Woo Jin live. He literally has no time to breath and he only started to get closer with Eun Jae... Tho ep13 had very sweet Woo Jin x Eun Jae moments. And I gave up about Park Min Guk, he's completely lost.
Anyway the movie was average. Made it only for Yoo Yeon Seok's performance.
