the way i saw ML and his dad, i think his dad finally realized that ML would never be the son he wanted him to be and he has truly changed. ML showed his selfless nature by taking the stab for his dad; it showed that ML was literally willing to die to not have to go back to the gangster life. if the roles were reversed, there's no way the dad would do the same for ML. he doesn't want ML to be selfless, he wants him to be ruthless and he knows he won't get that from him anymore so he disowned him once and for all

i didn't want him to but i think jihwan taking the hit for his dad makes sense. throughout the show jihwan has been struggling with what his true nature really is. various people have told him that he's once a gangster, always a gangster, and people can't change. as a result, to avoid going back to that life, and to atone for what he's already done, he's very caring and protective towards others which results in him being self-sacrificial at times too. we've already seen him sacrifice his own happiness multiple times to protect others throughout the show. he clearly thinks lesser of himself because of his past. he even said to kang gil "you haven't tried living a different life", he's committed to being a better person and that means not willingly letting people be killed in front of him even if its his piece of shit father 🤷🏾‍♀️ he's better than me bc i would've let yang hee get at least 3 stabs in

tbh i dont think eunha and jihwan will break up next ep 👀 i think jihwan will have a moment of weakness and regress to pushing eunha away but she and the others will reassure him and they'll work together to take down his dad. he's clearly struggling a lot with his dad's reappearance and hes understandably scared. i just think if they were gonna break up it would've happened already rather than in ep 15. or maybe this is just wishful thinking lol, hopefully not 🤞🏾

i didnt watch todays ep yet but why is there a lack of kissing scenes 🤨🤨🤨🤨 taegoo and sunhwa have such amazing chemistry like come on im waiting for more!!

it seems like they're setting up yena and hongki, hongki is very charming but im not sold on yena because of how rude she's been to eunha and as of right now she hasn't shown any remorse 🤷🏾‍♀️ also i wasn't feeling the pregnancy trope at first but im actually loving ilyoung and miho's storyline so much now. and ofc i love jihwan and eunha so much 🥺 im also getting the vibe that hyunwoo and officer song will end up together lol there's a lot of love to go around

the kitty gang leader is so funny to me that i just cannot take him seriously in the scenes where hes supposed to be threatening 😭 😂

fl and ml only like each other. sml likes the fl too so yes there's a love triangle but she very very clearly likes ml more

i've been thinking about this too. they also made it a point in ep 1 to show that suho was not answering his phone when soohyun was worried about gunwoo being sick

i think we can all agree that the congressman is behind everything, so atp im just wondering how seonyul and soohyun will come together afterwards to take the congressman down. i assume they will all work together at some point, including the neighbour, suho, etc. how are they gonna even work together, how do you come back from this 😬
