I have this tendency to always eat this nut mix stuff and I just love it. Mostly because I don't feel guilty eating too much. Honestly, one cannot stop eating nuts, I guess. On cold days I like to get cozy with a tea and whatever cookies we have at home.
If I were to compare this adaptation with original manga, I'd have to say that it sucked and I have lots of complains. First of all, why did they changed so many things? And why did they have to make Chiwa's father such an annoying character?! If I were her, I wouldn't want to see him ever again.
But then again, looking at it without any comparition, I have to say it was good, probably one of the better romance dramas I've seen. Finally not a high school romance. And mature characters that were actually really lovable.
What was I REALLY positive about were the characters. Even though it was the first drama I saw with Fujioka Dean in and I didn't know what to expect, I really came to like him not only as Hokuto. Also, Souma was great as well, that was a really nice change of character imo. Chiwa didn't cry as much as in manga and Yagami was cute without becoming annoying.
There were some scenes, especially in few last episodes that I'm not satisfied with but because I really really like the original manga I can't bring myself to give this adaptation less than 7.5/10. (Even though the subs were terrible sometimes).
At first I thought Higashide Masahiro wasn't cut out to play Kou but after watching this I have totally different opinion now. I think he did a great job with the role&Kou's personality as well.
Many scenes were ommited(of course) so I'm glad I read the manga before ^^
Kominato was cute as hell & Shuuko was very beautiful. Touma annoying as always.
Futaba was alright I guess.
Such a pity he doesn't have a main role in somethng.
