I wished this was longer because I loved every second of this drama! I love the main One Dollar Lawyer Trio so much because of their close bond and friendship. I really want to see them solve more cases together. The fact that they only take one dollar for their fee, makes for quite a few heartwarming and wholesome situations. The prosecutor team was great too; I love how their cases sometimes connected with the One Dollar Lawyer team XD
I really enjoyed watching this drama :D I also loved watching Oh Yeon Seo kicking ass again in her role XD Been awhile since she last played a role where she beats some people up <3
The beginning was hella exciting! I thought I finally found a thrilling kdrama that keeps me on my toes. The first 2 eps totally sold me on the storyline and the whole "I want to find my mother's killer" kind of plot. I really really looked forward to the family reunion with the mother, father and their son once they realize that they are a family. I also got attached to JG's childhood friend the reporter. I was really shipping them!! It was cute how she chased after him and how most people already thought that them getting together was just a question of time. I also looked forward to the mother falling in love with the father again<3
But the show got weirder and weirder with their portrayal of the mother/son relationship; it got to the point where I really couldn't interpret their interactions as familiar/platonic anymore :( So after 10 eps I checked the comments to get reassurance that I'm just interpreting their relationship wrong, just to be proven that I wasn't over-analyzing anything.... LOL, dropped this ep 10 and wished I never started this X'DD Reading about the ending left a terrible taste in my mouth.
This was a great wholesome drama about a family solving mysterys in their neighbourhood :D All the characters were pleasant & interesting to watch. Moreover, they all had time to shine >w< I really enjoyed the child actors too! They were all sooo adorable X'D The FL was so kickass, I love her for that<33
I recommend this drama for all the people who are in the mood for some light hearted detective drama with great friendship/family relationships :)
Honestly, I like this drama so much. This really should have been a 50 episodes drama. All the minor characters are SO interesting. Each of them have their own lives and their own stories to tell. I really would have loved to know more about them, to deepen my understanding of all the characters. I really like the sibling interactions, the Sismance and the interactions between the Male Lead and his 'doctor'. There are so many side couples that I hope would have some more time to develop because I ship them all X'DD With the limited time we have for the story...I'm a bit sad that the main leads + second male lead take up most of the screen time with their drama X'D
I had to drop this for now at ep 5. I love all the Male Leads...like honestly, I don't want this Second and Third Male Lead syndrome X'DD They are all such great guys...why fall for the same woman? Masashi is such a sweet and caring guy. And Yamashita is also a really nice guy ;A; None of them are jerks...this is bad for my heart X'D
Wow, this was amazing. I loved this so much. Bansai's character was so accurate....the costume, his attitude and the way he talks: Kubota Masataka was seriously in character!! Watching him on screen was incredible. Itou's character was also really well acted out as well as the whole gintama cast, honestly :D And maybe it's just me as a die-hard OkiKagu fan...but since I didn't expect that scene, I was pleasantly surprised by their interactions XD The director probably knew what the fans want to see o(>__<)p All in all, I loved this :) I'm definitely impressed by the whole movie; I really enjoyed watching this a lot. If they are going to produce any more movies, I will watch them as well!
I loved this movie!! As a huge Gintama fan I had to watch this...and gosh; I fangirled so much at all the costumes, acting, fighting scenes and conversations :D I really liked the effects and CGIs as well....not sure about you, but I've seen dramas with worse ones *coughHwayugicough* All the actors stayed true to their characters & the plot was also not too far away from the source material<33 I laughed a lot & honestly, that's enough proof to me that this was worthwhile :) I recommend this movie to all the Gintama fans out there who love the manga & anime and would like to see their beloved characters as real life versions<33 XD
This was funny and quite faithful to the original manga XDD The actors looked a lot like the actual manga cast XD The hairstyles, costumes and nendo's whole appearance were spot on XDDD Moreover, they portrayed the manga characters quite well; though I think that Teruhashi was a little bit over the top from what I'd imagine her to be XDDD But nevertheless, I enjoyed watching this movie a lot<33 I can recommend it to the manga & anime watchers who love Saiki and don't mind over the top acting in a live action adaption :)
I liked the movie. It felt like I was watching this in double speed, but that's probably as much as I would get from the drama if I had ever watched it. I'm kind of prone to skipping scenes if nothing really happens or if it doesn't happen fast enough. So this lenght/speed might have been perfect for me. I understood the gist of the story so I guess the movie did convey the key plot lines of the drama? I don't know; at least these 2 hours didn't feel like a waste of time so it's good enough for a movie.
I only managed to enjoy the human arc with them as mortals X'D Everything before and after that was just either plain boring or...incredibly annoying X'DD I really had to force myself to reach the ending of this drama. But, I really enjoyed them as doctor x king XDDD Their tragic ending, and then their awkward reunion as immortals was kind of...funny X'D
After reading the new manga chapter, I had to check who Hirano Sho is...only to find out that the manga gets a live action adaption! I look forward to it :D
Okay, should have looked at the genre list first, before watching this trailer X'DDD I clicked because I saw Komatsu Nana in the cast list...but gosh, I'm really bad with horror X'D
Ah, I really want to go to Tokyo at least once in my lifetime! I wanna go to the anime/manga merchandise stores as well as eat all the delicious food I always see in dramas or animes! All the street food, the restaurants....gosh<333
I like korean bbq with pork belly :D Kimichi is also quite nice as long as it's not all too spicy X'DD Black bean noodles are delicious too, though I've never eaten them in a restaurant....so I'm not sure whether I'm following the recipes correctly X'D
