This is true. And, if I can be blunt, there's not much effort by most drama teams to make dramas worthy of passing that review.

Not many dramas have taken advantage of the rule change, so I can see why people weren't aware. I know Swords into Plowshares was 48 episodes earlier this year, but that's the only other one I can think of right now.

The rule was revoked, dramas can be longer now.

It's all one go, as far as I know. I saw a CCTV schedule that said the last ep is airing early October, but I don't know what that means for streaming schedules.

I haven't seen the schedule either, but the countdown above is 1 day 23 hours until next episode, so I was going by that.

Here I was thinking I was going to be so far behind after not having time to watch over the weekend, but there's no episodes tomorrow? I'll have time to catch up!

LXY is worth watching in any of his previous dramas. Not every one is a great drama, but his performance is always fantastic! Thankfully this time it is a great drama showcasing his talents!

That's my thinking too, and a something I saw today has given me some ideas about why, but without more info, it's just a hunch.

He does force the marriage with a decree, yes. His motivations for doing that may just be jealousy, but there could be more to it than that. She's not happy about it at all, and slaps him at their wedding. I will say, with how the screenwriter and director have been handling everything, I'm hopeful he learns from this and earns her forgiveness before she falls in love.

I don't have spoilers, but my guess is that she's very observant, and noticed that the Du siblings are up to no good. The quiet ones are usually better at reading people since they spend more time watching than talking.

I noticed yesterday. There were many new cast names added too.

They were the Xingtang's maids, the ones she sent looking for her lover.

There is 2 for now.

I've watched up to ep3. It starts so very painful, but is so very good! Ep1 will bring many tears, ep2 probably will too. Episode 3 settles a bit more into the main plot, and is excellent! I haven't felt a wrong beat from anything yet. Acting, production, OST, it's all done well.

I've only watched the first episode. So many tears! The acting from everyone was so good! Both young actresses deserve all the flowers, they are amazing! On to the ep 2!

It's much more interesting to see characters rebuild their life from the ashes than the stale rebirth trope.

They took that aspect out of the story. FL takes on a new identity to hide, but is still the same person.
