Whoever want to start watching this drama should go fast on the first four episodes, else may deter you from continuing. The costume and makeup was not impressive in those episodes for the bystanders. But the lion is good.

The main reason why this book was so popular then was not just about it being created in a world of fantasy, but largely also about the strong relationship between the brothers. I guess even though Shi do care about Yan Da, it is more from an above friend kind of feelings rather than romance. If there is romance between Shi and Yan Da, it will probably weaken the brother relationship line. I seriously doubt there will be. But such close and yet not close moments between the two is also interesting. Just enjoy it.

The story line of the brother relationship will not change, I guess, else the books' fans will be so mad. In the book, there is no Yan Da and Shi's world only has his brother. Nothing much was elaborated on his love for his mother.

Yuan Ji is not original character buy Ice Flame King is created by the script writer, just like Yan Da and her brothers.

The story of Shi not created biologically but from cherry blossom was from the story book but the script writer changed it. In the story book, Shi was just a tool of Lian Ji and Lian Ji and Yuan Ji are the same person. Ya, come to think of it, I also wonder why the Fire King thought Shi is his son? Maybe he also has some moments with Lian Ji?

Ying Kong Shi is from a different tribe, it seems, called Bing Yan Tribe - Ice Fire Tribe (something like that).
