why do americans in asian shows sound so weird when they're speaking english. like that's literally their first…
English isn't always their first language, but also if they aren't actual actors then they aren't going to really act that well. I don't think they cared so much to allocate much budget to the VIPs
Me, too. It's so frustrating. The baby winning in the end? Player 222 didn't look like she's about to give birth...…
Well considering Myeong-gi disappeared for 6 months after finding out she was pregnant, and most women find out they're pregnant between 1-2 months, she would've been anywhere between 7-8 months at least. Many women don't have huge baby bumps either, so that's not really unrealistic.
I can’t be the only one that absolutely loved this season, right? 😞
I thought it was fine. I think it lacked a bit in comparison to the first two seasons, although technically this was really just a part 2 to season 2. I think they rushed it and just killed everyone off as quickly as they could. But honestly, I feel like it was pretty obvious how it would end so I don't know why anyone really expected much different.
I see a lot of comments about “VIPs” but that may be the only or one of the only realistic things here. First…
Look up some of the things that happens at those Dubai parties...it's sick. Extremely wealthy people are not right in the head. This show definitely, and unfortunately, does accurately portray those who have infinite wealth and nothing else to do
It's hard to explain but I really didn't like the season finale! The worst thing is that in the second season…
I feel like it was pretty obvious that the ending was going to end in a way where they didn't succeed. That was kinda the whole point, that they were powerless and that those with money and power are the ones who get to call the shots. There was no realistic way that they would've been able to take down the organization. Even if the South Korean Squid Game got shut down after this, we already knew it was a global thing before the ending of this season. So regardless, it still would've been an endless cycle. And I think that's what Gi-hun realized at the end when he sacrificed himself for the baby.
I guess it was already shown from the beginning. He ghosted Jun Hee for 6 months knowing she was pregnant and…
they mutually agreed on the abortion, he didn't know she kept the baby
also younger generations are not any more selfish than older generations. if anything older gens are the most selfish while watching younger gens struggle so much
The “bad guys win” ending doesn’t work with squid games season 3 because the entire point of this sequel…
it was pretty obvious that it would have a "bad" ending though, because the whole point is that one person can't change anything and that the rich will always have the power. it wouldn't make sense for them to dismantle such a huge organization with such little manpower
I am not too annoyed at western actors in kdramas. I just hate the way they talk in it. Nobody speaks like that.
a lot of them generally don't have english as their first language, that's often why it sounds awkward because they have to force themselves to speak in a way so they don't have heavy accents. not to mention if the english scripts aren't being written by a native english speaker, then they will likely use more formal language
not to mention the rumors about Dicaprio were that he would be a VIP

also didn't this game literally directly go against how the games are supposed to be "fair"?
