unfortunately it's not even just netflix, a lot of streaming services have begun to do this as well. it's annoying

first half is a slow burn to set up the revenge, second half is where the true, intense revenge is set into motion. this is the problem with them splitting a drama in half lmao

i don't even know why romance is a discussion topic for this show. ML has a one sided crush, and FL is completely focused on her revenge. i don't understand where people are even seeing chemistry between her and the SML either, they've interacted a handful of times and it's clear her only goal is to use him for her revenge. honestly the drama is better off without romance

a lot of people talk about it when its a much older ML and younger FL, i see it quite often when certain dramas are discussed.

it's a very slow burning plot during this first half of the show. i'm assuming the second half will be much more intense. i think the first half is interesting though if you're into slow burn revenge plots

wouldn't make sense for them to add suho into season 2, or beomseok, because they have no place in the main story in the webtoon. the first season was only based on sieun's past which was apparently only a brief part of the webtoon. not sure who added them to the main cast for season 2

23 is an adult though, i could see it being weird if he was like 18/19 but there's nothing wrong with a 23 year old doing scenes like that

agreed, i don't see the chemistry everyone is talking about between dong eun and do young. he's clearly just a pawn to her, and he's only interested in her because she's good at the game of go. they've barely interacted with each other as well. it makes no sense for them to end up together. plus, like another commenter said, if they ended up together then she would always have a connection to yeon jin because of it. she would never be free of that circle.

personally, i don't even think romance is necessary in this drama, but if she does end up with someone then it should be yeo jung

nope, this type of bullying unfortunately is a thing in korea, and isn't even the worst of it

from what i've heard, bullying can be much worse than this in korea, and it's true that money keeps the bullies safe
