Don't get me wrong I can believe that someone's so in love to lose their self-respect & dream. but you have to show the audience, why? Can I believe a guy this rich will go gaga over some girl just coz she's pretty? he's rich & good-looking, he probably can take his pick out of the lot, so show us why he loves FML so bad even after rejection? to the extent he's ready to give up on his dream for her.
ex from FML'S another drama Falling into you, audience can get why ML is in love with her or in Lighter & princess but this drama feels like ML is in love coz the writer said so.

This isn't even 10% as good as Falling into you.

While writing this comment I was hating on I m yoona coz she ruined k2 for me hence I chose KTL as an example.

My point was this is more gripping, better story if KTL even has one, better chemisty and everything I would want in a romance drama.

There's a comedy video where a wife asks her hubby, "baby would you still love me if I was a snail", he says no while browsing. Then wife gets upset in a funny way. This drama reminded me of that , when she turns to a old man and we think she can't change back to her normal self and the ML says He still loves her, I said "what a load of crap" 😅. good Drama neverthless but Girls don't take any hints :) also this is my 2nd drama of this ML and he has no range in his acting.

I never said I think breaking bad is a masterpiece. it is probably one of the most overrated shows ever but that dosen't take away from the fact that jesse pinkman has been acted out tremendously. also this has nothing to do with cultural difference I watch shows in spanish, french, turkish but in no way korean standard of acting is higher than English shows like the original comment mentioned coz their first priority will always be leads' looks rather than their acting talent. also who is christina aguiler? google search says she's a singer but I am pretty sure as an an actor she is nowhere as popular as rowoon is among kdrama viewers. also what has timberlake done, friends with benefits? what rating did that movie get now compare it to what ratings idols get. you would never see a high rated english show with bad acting. while I could name a 50 from top of my head for asian dramas. adios!

my ratings for asian dramas are not the same standard for english shows. I rated peaky blinders as 9 on imdb, that does not mean I find hometown cha cha cha better than peaky blinders. next I tried watching the most overhyped thrillers like flower of evil, mouse, lawless lawyer etc and they were pathetic so I stick to romance for asian and english for actual good shows. Among your given shows I started secret love affair, didn't like it but even if the rest of the shows have brilliant performances (they still wouldn't be as good as thomas shelby) my point is standard of acting is much higher in english shows than korean. jesse pinkman, saul goodman, tony soprano, brad pitt in everything, uhterd & alfred in last kingdom for checkmate, while you name me a actor as popular as Rowoon or that guy in my roomate is a gumiho who can't act for sh*t? also why would I compare anything to the sex and the city, minmimum standard should be HIMYM, now find me a barney stinson in kdramas, try!
