Yeah, that's the problem with these high heat BLs, isn’t it? And the thing is they don’t have to do the devil's tango every episode. You can show intimacy in other ways like hugs, kisses and idk fade-to-blacks and allusions but a guy shrieking away from kissing his bf is NOT it. I mean there are legit reasons for the main guys to not have sex or get intimate after episode 1 but somehow they don’t use any of them and it ends up just making the relationship awkward and inauthentic.

I'm actually all for spin-offs but alas they mess it up like 99% of the time. I still think that in capable hands WinTeam could have a mini spin-off with like 5 episodes or something. But 12?! No, absolutely not. If you have to add 4 side couples to fill the screen time... maybe you just should cut down on the episodes, man... or just not give them a selerate series in the first place idk. But I agree that if they can’t make a good spin-off they should rather make a new one with the two actors.

Oh, definitely. You can tell that he fell in love with Heart/LiMing's story because they take up much screen time. And Jim/Wen barely had any messy drama aside from Jim pushing Wen away and Wen trying to woo him regardless. Even Alan got softened and happy end with boyfriend and all. P'Aof clearly loves his couples soft and as messy-free as possible (which isn't a bad thing but you know, not what you'd expect from a show like this).
