I love the main characters in this and think highly of their acting abilities. I just didn't feel the chemistry though and am a bit disappointed. Good movie though.
This drama had such potential but the ending killed all that. I understand the time put in with Sung Soo, but that choice didn't work for me. Very disappointed. Usually the supporting characters annoy me but I didn't mind In Young's friends. Not a re-watchable drama for me but not bad.
This drama was one of the most exciting dramas I've seen in awhile. I really liked the flow of things and felt everything almost fit into place. I never truly like the husband from the start and was hoping for something to happen between Dong Chan and Soo-Hyun. I could've given the drama a 10 if not for the open ended ending. After all the viewers have been through a clear ending would've been ideal.

I knew the Empress and Tal Tal could never be, still it would of been nice for her to at least have one strong supporter. The best part was Yeom Byung Soo finally getting his. The last episode had the potential, but imo it fell short.
This drama overall was very good. However...I can't believe I waited the entire day for the last episode. This episode lacked so much. I feel like because they put a lot of detail into this drama, they ran out of time and rushed the ending. While it's sad the emperor did die, it was hard to feel that because it was so rushed. I actually had a hope for team Tal Tal to come about. I haven't been this let down since Meteor Garden 2.
Although I really liked Wang Yoo and Seung Nyang together, I think their time has passed. I'm really hoping that Ta Hwan and Seung Nyang can work things out. However, being between these two guys is getting stressful and I wouldn't blame her for choosing Taltal.
Idk if someone already pointed this out yet, although Ta Hwan took it too far by trying to force himself on Seung Nyang, you have to think about the time period this took place and the fact he is the emperor and she is a consort. Doesn't make it right though.
