Not that funny but I'll keep watching it for the moment.
There is something that annoys me... What about people's rights? Shouldn't the medical records be something secret? How come the Prime Minister can access her father profile and know about his illness?

Yes, it's out! I wasn't able to finish it, I will watch it again at the evening. For what I've seen she still trust Sungnyang, altghough she looks weak and uncomfortable. :(
Have you watched it?
Who do you ship for? Sungnyang with King Chunghye or the Yuan Emperor? Who do you think Sungnyang will love at…
No way... Real Empress Ki attacked her own country? I don't want to see this in the drama :_(
In previows episodes she said that he wouldn't care if everyone from Goryeo in the palace are killed because of her crime... I hope this is not true, that she only said that because of her anger and desire to revenge her parents.
I don't understand what do you mean with the "Missing" status. She will leave the palace once married with the Emperor and go to Goryeo in secret?
I wonder what will the King to with the Batolu girl? He doesn't seem to be capable to kill her.

Yes, it's seems like there are two first male leads. I like this, it's something different.
I personally liked that there weren't 5-10 episodes about the characters' childhood. Another sageuk drama that didn't show their childhood times was The Princess' Man, but it was a 20 ( or it was 24?) episodes long so maybe it isn't a good comparation.
I don't think the Emperor is cute...His childish behaviour annoys me >.<
About being a weak leader, I pitied him when her mother forced him to sleep with the palace maid. He seemed so helpless, when he knew that even his mother wouldnt care for his feelings.

Feel free to add reasons and pros/cons :D
I ship for Sungnyang and King Chunghye. While watching dramas I (as everyone I think) identify first male lead and second male lead at the first 1-2 episodes. I know for sure that the female lead will NEVER EVER end up with the second lead - and if this were to happen it would be against her will and would be an unhappy ending of course. But in this drama I'm confused. Maybe it's because it's a long drama with 50 episodes. I don't ship for the Yan Emperor but I'm starting to feel that Sungnyang will fall in love for him in the future.
If you know about a drama in which the female lead ends up happily with the second male lead please tell me ;)
I still cant jump on the emperor's's train..i'm all Team King Chunghye...but i haven't watched episode 11 yet.…
I'm with you :D

Hi!
I've just finished episode 11 of Empress Ki and read your review ^^
About the Emperor... he only found out that Sungnyang is in fact Sungnyang, but he said something about a man disguising as a woman? Is he that dense? O_O Come on!!
The concubine will miscarriadge for sure, I'm worried about the relationship friendship-loyalty between her and Sungnyang, she will think that Sunygnyang fed her with the powder at the end :(
It's just me or the last scene that appears in the preview that we can see at the end of episode 10, is the last scene of episode 12? I can't find English subs for ep 11 and 12 but jumped quickly through the raw episodes and it seemed so to me. This is killing me, those advanced cliffhangers... :(
I was scared by the amount of episodes (120) which would mean 60 weeks... longer than a year! I'm glad to see that it airs five days a week ^^'' Even so I'm still scared of it's length...the longest drama I've seen had 50 episodes.
I didn't like her in Scent of a Woman and I Do, I Do. I think that it was because of the story, I've just watched She's on Duty and I loved her!

you're welcome! It's not mine anyway, it's from 49 days. I've been trying to remember when did he say that quote and I can't >_< I know he was in that strange park...
(I've learnt a new korean word haha)
I'm curious to know whether the very beginning of the first episode was the very end of the drama or if will appear…
Well, I think that one thing is to say that this marriage will happen soon, my bet is on two weeks from now so at episode 12 or 13, and another one is to say that there will be a happy ending! I think it will be difficult. Let's see :)
Is this good? I love Ha ji won but 50 is a bit scary to start
@Chocobana I don't know... waiting every episode for 25 weeks it's really scary. But this way you can feel more how the story evolves and the characters grow.
Ep7* When will Chang Wook find out she's a girl...? It doesn't look like he will in the next ep. I just need someone…
You're welcome :)
To tell you the truth, before watching ep 7 with english subtitles I also understood that Dang Ki-Se told the Eunuch to
keep her, although it didn't make sense xD I'd also seen ep 7 RAW, but jumping because I don't know any word in korean ^^''

Dang Ki-Se told the Eunuch Chief to kick Seung Nyang out of the Palace so he can buy her. He doesn't want her to be a palace maid, he wants to have her as his slave/concubine. But the Eunuch Chief didn't do so...
That's what I thought after watching 6th episode, without taking in account the previous ones: the person who is going to kill Kim Shin is Kim Shin himself. It doesn't really make sense, but Kim Shin asked Ajhuma if she liked him and her eyes where like yes, of course I do, they weren't filled with hate. Also, I don't know the exactly words but Ajhuma says to Kim Shin that he should stop sacrifying himself, keep his worries only for himself... That would have turned Kim Shin in a depressive man, who hurts himself. And with him, of course, he would have killed Mi Rae, just as she said in the end of the first episode.
Anyway, don't take this theory seriously xD

The drama The Princess' Man does this, there is a scene in the first five minutes of the drama that shows us what will happen 8-10 episodes later.
Anyway, don't take this theory seriously xD
