Title I Hear You Spoiler
Aww I should've read this before I invested so much of my time to this drama (but I hate spoilers so avoid reading…
I guess they have a special *connection* where he understands she did it for his own good (even tho they barely talked about it, like I know she mentioned not giving up his dreams but nothing about those phone calls saying she's basically forcing him to move with her) but like they never talked about moving to Japan together??? He just decided he would go with her???? Also that last scene at the restaurant in Japan was super odd and gave me uneasy vibes??? Like could they not have come up with anything less creppy just to get a 'I already have someone I love'? Also Mars rings some serious alarm bells and none of his interactions with Tang Li were professional considering they were working together yuck.

Title I Hear You
shittiest ending everr .......unless there's a S2?
Aww I should've read this before I invested so much of my time to this drama (but I hate spoilers so avoid reading the comments). The ending was so abrupt, I thought there would be something more but no Netflix went straight to previewing another drama leaving me utterly disappointed. The only storyline I really liked was Tang Li's and even then I was unsure of her ending. There was something off about the male leads acting which I would be able to excuse if not for the ending. Also what happened to his luggage lol?

Title Triad Princess Spoiler
I binged it in one day too and I feel the same as you. I don't know about the other things but I am 99% sure it…
Ooooh I didn't think of that and it makes so much sense! Even tho he claims to want Angie to be happy we know he's a wee bit 'off' like he seems too perfect so doing something like teaming up with the guy that hates Angie so much and then being the 'hero' to save her makes a lot of sense!

Title Triad Princess Spoiler
okay so I binged the whole season in a night (which wasn't much tbh) but I didn't get the ending at all? firstly,…
I binged it in one day too and I feel the same as you. I don't know about the other things but I am 99% sure it is Eddie in that final scene which made me think of 2 possibilities- 1. Ling's ex has kidnapped him to try and get to Angie (which is stupid coz he's also a triad heir and can end him like Angie almost did if that bridge wasn't her only way of dealing with him) or 2. He is somehow behind all the drama (which also makes no sense but this is a drama after all so anything is possible).

Review Triad Princess Spoiler
I agree with everything you've said. Honestly 6 episodes??? And such short ones at that???? Netflix is really missing the mark with that concept. Had I known how it ended (on such a massive cliffhanger?!?! Like is that really necessary Netflix???) I probably would not have watched this. In saying that tho I have to admit the synopsis was up my alley and I was super excited to see how the story would play out but I was kinda disappointed tbh. It had potential but I think it lost it due to the time restrictions and bad writing. There was basically no interaction between the leads (apart from her obsessive fangirling and invasion of privacy which I have a lot to say about but I won't)before they were madly in love. Also the storyline about Ling's son is going nowhere??!? Like how bad is the gang that they can't even find the kid (but then again they are pretty bad at tying loose ends- literally everyone they've pushed off that bridge has survived??) And then out of nowhere they introduce the second lead who has such amazing chemistry with Angie and because of their history I can at least understand where he is coming from and his relationship with Angie. Like major SLS for me and how can they end like that with him??!??! I know Eddie is like Angie, they are gang heirs so they are obviously not angels so his storyline is 10x more interesting for me than Jasper who seems like an angel dressed as an idol (a cardboard cutout at that with an obsession with elephants which is never really explained). Also Angie's character is all over the place? She's 25 and a mob princess who has fighting skills but no street knowledge?? Like where would she be without her adopted brother?? No money, she goes to stay at a hotel which is the first place anyone would look??? At times you can see she is strong and capable but at other times you're left to wonder what she even knows about the real world. It makes me so angry. I think what you said about it being aimed towards 14 year olds is correct coz after watching years of dramas it makes me want to pull my hair out when so much potential goes to waste.

Chief Kim has similar vibes to this. The female lead is in it too and her character is introduced in a similar way so I'm finding it hard to distinguish between her characters in Pegasus and Chief Kim. It's really funny, the OST is amazing, it has Goblin references and Junho (always in a suit and eating in a lot of his scenes). It has rewatch value- writing this makes me wanna rewatch it now.

Review Go Go Squid!
Great review! I gotta agree with with you in regards to Wu Bai. The first few eps I could kind of see his involvement in the story (ep 7 was the best lol) but then he just disappeared....? They mentioned him but he was never there and when he was there he didn't do anything? There are some characters where you can understand them just looking at their facial expressions/ body language but with Wu Bai I just could not?? Xaoi Mi stole the show for me as well. The acting was so natural that I never had the chance to think that someone was playing him as a character. I also loved all the friendships- Team Solo, Yaya and Tong Nian, K&K, Buff, All and Xaoi Mi. There were frustrating moments but overall I'm glad I got caught in the hype of this drama.
