Qin isn’t insensitive, especially when it comes to Duang. he reacts that way because he gets shy & flustered! and in the novel Duang says he likes it & finds it cute when Qin hits him because of this!
Qin told Tiw to leave him alone MULTIPLE times! he only sat with Tiw & the group because he felt OBLIGATED to! they are literally his friends from high school! and Qin entertained Tiw later that night because he needed CLOSURE! he would’ve probably never gotten rid of that teddy bear & became exclusive with Duang that night if he didn’t shut that chapter once & for all because during high school, he didn’t have that talk with Tiw— Tiw’s the reason Qin was so on the fence about Duang pursuing him. And Qin never makes Duang promise anything! he gets possessive the same way Duang does, RIGHTFULLY SO! Duang is a grown ahh man! if he didn’t like something, he’ll be HONEST about it. there is no “abuse” or taking advantage of Duang’s love. their relationship is realistic, communicative & MATURE. it’s very evident in the late night talks they have EVERY episode!
so yeah! it’s more of a personal taste for you, that’s all.
