I have to say that the last few episodes pretty much ruined a really good drama, and the censorship was really the icing on the cake... Is there somewhere to watch everything that couldn't be broadcast, like behind the scenes?
The only thing I don't like about this drama- the styleing!! I hated what the fl is wearing 95% of the time and all the craziness going with her hair?? I know she's on her 20s but with all that she's looks in her teen... I been to Thailand and you don't see that kind of clothes and hair on grow ass people on daily outing and school
as for the men, it's also eyesore but more manageable
haven't watched episode 5 yet... I think the wife of the male is also a secret agent of some sort... she's too unbothered about her husband outings in the evenings
A very raw drama, I mostly watch Korean dramas but lately I've been in a dry spell and that means a lot of Chinese dramas... A highly recommended drama with very few cheesy moments, the only problem with this drama in my opinion! That there is no intimacy between the leads - there's not even a kiss and they're in their early twenties!
I don't know how much the drama matches the reality of China in the 90s, but no one will convince me that at those ages there is no intimacy between couples... I'm not saying I expected something that wasn't screen-appropriate or censored, but there is a couple here who are very much in love and there is nothing intimate between them beyond hugging. At first I thought the lead was underage, but that wasn't the case, can someone explain to me why this is so?
It took me two days to finish, the final result is that the drama is okay - nothing special and certainly not recommended. I don't know if it's the editing or something in the original story that I don't understand but something there wasn't baked all the way through... The lead actor gave a great performance here, I'm not against the actress but I didn't connect with how she played someone emotionless. Kissing scenes A+ :-) The last episode was the worst.
As a Jew who saw the series Lucifer and enjoyed it, and now in episode 6 of the drama - I had to Google it to understand the fuss about the main character and his religious affiliation... I agree with those who say it would have been better to stick with Korea's mythological history and not borrow from another religion... I also agree that the actors and the drama should be separated from the criticism of the drama - Korea still needs to learn how to characterize characters and stories that are outside the general knowledge of most citizens.
In shows and programs that are not Korean dramas there is a representation of religious characters - both positive and negative. It seems that the audience of Korean dramas is not yet ready for this...
Am I the only one who didn't connect with this drama? I tried not to stop every 10 minutes and not to think about the illogicality that's going on here (still a fictional drama) but it just doesn't work - everyone's acting is over the top and the comedy isn't even funny
Loved this movie, 9/10!! Just a question though but why do almost all Korean dramas act like having curly hair…
The standard of beauty is very clear in Korean society - straight hair, thinness, perfect complexion and appropriate height. This is of course not the rule, but I think it is the majority.
I'm completely confused... I'm trying to differentiate between what I read in the story, what I saw in the episodes, and what I saw in the clips people make and post... In which episode does the male lead text in the shower? As usual, I prefer the written version to the adaptation - sometimes the production doesn't know how to change the plot back after they've changed it to create drama.
Unpopular opinion... The novel is better than the drama, the drama started out great but as soon as they started to deviate from the novel and invent entire plot lines it started to become illogical and just unnecessary drama.
Like in the last episode, when you are in a dangerous situation and someone is chasing you ay - is this the perfect moment you choose to have a heart-to-heart talk??
I usually read the literature the a drama is based on after watching it... I was impatient because of the week-long delay and also because the drama is really good, so I read the translated version in two days. Now I'm just upset that I know what will happen in the next episodes and which parts have no chance of making it from paper to screen.
I put it on pause after ep 2... something didn't work for me... can someone tell why they broke up in the frist place and why was the fl been in the hospital?
One more episode to the end, the drama is really worth watching and the plot is not expected at all. The drama's Achilles heel is the romance between the leads - forced and unnecessary. what's more the male main character was nothing more than a pretty face throughout the series and it's a shame because the actor is really good
This drama should have been 10-12 episodes, only because of the main actors it got the attention and it's a shame... After every episode I remembered Alchemy of Souls where the drama and the main couple was great At first the score was 8.5, I ended up with 7.0 and that's also because double speed wasn't fast enough but oh well
As soon as I press the double speed watch button, that's when the drama gets a lower score - usually it drops a whole point towards the end... It's a shame that this isn't a shorter drama or that there isn't more focus on the secondary couple

it got better in episode 2, it's still off like but better then ep 1

Is there anywhere to watch in good quality with subtitles or download subtitles?
