Title My Youth
The cast was great, but the storytelling was lacking, particularly the final two episodes. It seemed edited to force a happy ending but lost meaning. I'm not sorry I watched it due to the visuals. However, the story is too disjointed to appreciate.

Gosh are you saying you'd rather have her be with Ji Hoo?!?! Heck no! She deserved to get away from those psychos…
When did Yoon Ji Hoo ever do one questionable thing other than spend time with those other jerks since early childhood? If he's not your type fine, but I like lovely sweet-natured guys.

I had to deal with second lead syndrome in my first foray into Kdrama, Boys over Flowers. I was ready to flip furniture when she chose the toxic a**hole over the glorious all-rounder soulmate. Then I realized nearly every Kdrama FL is given 2+ options. Korean entertainment truly caters to women, love it. If the script doesn't suit your choice, play out the script you wanted in your mind.

I loved this anime, so I was thrilled to see that they've made a live action. So far, it's great with the leads capturing the personalities. It really is a sweet story of following your passion, developing your strengths, gaining confidence & being valued.

Green Plum started out quite good, so I hope someone finishes subtitling it. This actor deserves a lead role, & there isn't enough sci-fi in Asian dramas.

I've been watching K-drama since 2009. Loved them nearly exclusively for ten years, but then I got tired of certain plot devices. C-dramas improved, & J-dramas added some alternative style. As I browse the upcoming K-dramas, more often than not I mark them as not interested or watch a couple episodes before dropping. They don't pique my enthusiasm any more. They seem to be going in darker directions with less humor & witty banter.

This show had some great life lessons for anyone trying to cope with their messy mind & find a better place to reach their peak performance. Not just athletes should learn to master this. We all benefit when we do what we do with joy & health.

Yes, I saw iQIYI will be picking it up soon. If they fix the subtitles, I may indeed watch it again. Unfortunately, iQIYI shows sometimes use AI generated subtitles as well.

Honestly speaking... I have a great empathy for this series. Many people compare it to the book [which is unavoidable]…
I started the series, but due to the poor subtitles switched over to the web novel. I'm glad I did, since reading the novel helped me appreciate all the humor around Ruan Baijie. Around the half-way point, I really wanted to return to the series, because I preferred the characterizations there more. I've finished the drama & enjoyed it. I was somewhat curious whether the web novel had the same twists & ending, but from the article I understand it didn't. Whether I'll finish the novel is still an open question, since slogging through the gore depictions didn't seem to be well offset with more intimacy than the censored version.

Just hold on and get to episode 7 - she is an absolute firecracker after! The contrast was amazingly well done…
Can't. I thought after the cilantro chopping scene she would release her true character, but after he begrudgingly admitted her artwork was good, she acted like she was ready to lick the bottom of his shoe when talking with her friend. I really can't stand females that refuse to maintain a sense of their worth or personal dignity over a man. Seems he doesn't even apologize until much deeper into the series from the other comments about episode 12, so this train wreck would only generate anger in me. Life is too short, & my watch list is too deep.

I couldn't even stay to the end of episode 6, because this was making me embarrassed to be female. I understand that people get up to some silly stuff when they have a crush, but who goes brain-dead. Zhou Ye was lovely in Word of Honor, Back From the Brink & somewhat cute in Love Me, Love My Voice, but this role was revolting.

I really like her, but her acting leaves something to be desired sometimes; not only the kissing. But I hope for…
Well said. She could even select roles that don't require it, if she has an issue with it. Many times, the kiss is the climax of a romantic show, so viewers are not being unreasonable to want something that looks realistic or at least somewhat enjoyable.

If you believe that his loveliness is a product of heavy filtering, check him out in other venues like his live streams. With him being consistently phenomenal in every picture, BTS reel, livestream, drama I've seen, he is either a gifted beauty or has the world's greatest publicist on constant call.

That article was such subjective BS trying to play down Li Fei's trump of Xu Zheng Xi in Royal Rumours. Talking of someone who can't act, Xu Zheng Xi played being lovesick like a moron. I struggled to finish that series, since the ML's looks are mediocre & he couldn't come across as being highly intelligent as the role required. No one can beat Li Fei for doing romance, smoldering sex appeal & kiss scenes. He also pulls off action scenes & comedy well without seeming too campy. Too bad I couldn't say the same about Xu Zheng Xi, who was regularly pulling silly faces that weren't remotely funny or romantic. It's only a matter of time for Li Fei to dominate more types of dramas. He's young on his way up.
