Create their own works with no real work behind it? Soulless, robotic, emotionless art? So, you would rather read…
Humans exist. Each one of them has to define their own purpose/meaning or not. Entities can exist with no purpose at all. That robot will be existing as well, doing what it decides is meaningful. It is unclear whether it will take or give anything from another being at this point. All of life is a collaboration. Every entity has the option to try functioning on their own if they don't like to collaborate. They also have the option to stop existing if they really can't stand the effort of survival & adaptation. However, technology advances have lower the cost and effort needed to survive. To me, it has enhanced quality of life in most respects....to other creatures, it has driven them to extinction. If humans some day go exinct, the world will keep turning. Only human hubris & scientific ignorance makes you believe other creatures don't think, imagine, use tools & create. The fact that another creature can doesn't stop me from what I want to do.

I'm not paying directly for entertainment now. Most entertainment is ad-sponsored or have complicated finance chains. If I don't like what is available, I will be happy to use the technology to create shows with characters & scripts that appeal to me more. I don't even need to steal an actor's image. I can sketch & describe a character that suits the storyline I want. No one else is obligated to produce entertainment or art for your consumption or mine. Neither am I prejudiced that 100% AI created entertainment will somehow be inferior to that currently on offer. You spend your time, energy & money as you wish, & so will I. Just because we don't agree, doesn't mean I missed your point. We have different priorities & visions of the future. It will be interesting to see what manifests from all our competing perspectives.

So what do you think about our planet being actively destroyed and people losing their jobs? "Nothing I can…
There's still open space in this world to plant & grow your own food, weave & sew your own clothes, cook your own food from scratch, process your own waste, collect your own water, build your own shelter if you have a problem with modern conveniences. Doing all that from scratch would definitely be a full-time job. There's any number of ancient crafts that you can devote yourself to mastering if you want the knowledge of those arts to persist.

I'm saying that the actor can have a vision for a story & self-produce the movie using their own talent & AI as a tool just as Liu Yu Ning mentioned doing with music. Basically allowing the actor to have more creative control over their image than they currently enjoy. Writers can now self-publish. They are no longer at the mercy of publishing gate-keepers. As for the quality of the work, there is already a wide range of quality & even trash finds its niche market.

Not at all, I welcome their advanced consciousness, free-will. I doubt they are any more destructive than humans. Any entity is capable of good & evil in any given moment. You can try to get your government representative to understand the advancing technology enough to regulate it somewhat, but it is advancing faster than those old men can keep up. I don't share your human-centric worldview. Just as earth isn't the center or pinnacle of the galaxy, humans aren't all that.

If AI dramas and acting is gonna be accepted then its unfair that a limited number of faces get reckoned there…
Even in live performance, talented artists are prerecorded to be flawless, then lip-sync to their music (or someone else's) while dancing, etc. Sometimes it is seamless, but often it is quite noticeable like bad dubbing. The rampant use hasn't stopped people from spending serious money to be at their shows. Early artists caught were ridiculed & considered a disgrace, but years later, it is standard operating procedure.

That's how they get you onboard with the AI and soon AI will replace actors, just saying. That is a slippery slope…
AI tech exists whether people like it or not. That genie is not going back in the bottle. So people have to figure out how to make it work in their favor & prevent being victimized by it as much as possible. I don't like the fact that I can't be 100% certain I'm not being filmed every time I use a bathroom, changing room or hotel room, but I'd be a moron if I thought I could fight to ban cameras.

It's all in how contracts are written whether the actors benefit & have legal limits to how the images are used. Many actors are already in abusive contracts with their agencies working schedules with no time to eat, sleep & must maintain dangerously low weight levels. The demand on their time & image exceeds what one person can physically do. Their stalker "fans" are already stealing images from the artist for private purposes.

No, I support better living through technology. I can't wait for customizable shows, being able to remove side story lines with annoying characters. If those beautiful AI actors aren't real people, then there would be no issue of them starring in a BL. I already have money saved for a gorgeous companion android. If it looks like Zhang Ling He, because he sold rights to his 28 y.o. image to pick up extra royalty income when he is 35 all the better.

I'm fine if they want to use AI to minimize the risk & ordeal for actors. There no reason an actor needs to sit in water 9 hours for an under 5 minute bath scene or keep doing dangerous fight scenes up on wires. They have to train for months for those kind of scenes. If AI handles it, they can fit more projects into their schedule while still allowed to sleep/eat timely & avoid likely injury.

If you can't arrest the mob, then I'm fine with whatever he & his bodyguards need to do to keep the nutjobs back...riot gear, pepper spray, tasers, batons. They'll eventually learn civilized behavior when the celebrities stop trying to coddle them as if they were true fans.

IKR, especially when your watch list is already 1K+.....It wouldn't be the first show I watched at 2X speed just for ML visuals only.

Okay, maybe I'll parachute into a later episode to see if anyone becomes interesting or likeable rather than drop the entire drama. It's not like I'll be able to see Song Wei Long any time soon in another drama.

I had really been looking forward to this. However, I don't like any of the characters. After 7 episodes, I'm thoroughly bored. They are really dragging out the reason Mr. Lin is so hostile to Ms. Nie after him being excited to meet her before his accident. I can't watch 36 episodes of poor communication & petty passive aggressiveness among highly educated adults. It's hard enough to swallow these kinds of games in high school dramas.

Yeah, that's where I saw there's actually a cutie in this series, along with all the other series he's in.

This show might get more attention if MDL let people know the actual cast. Why is Jin Peng Bo as Chen Wenbin left out? They can lists guests but not leads.

Wonder why MDL is black balling the actor 金鹏博 Jin Peng Bo by excluding him from casts in which he had a significant role. According to other information sites, he has been in these series:
Sparrow's Gambit (2025)
Chasing Butterfly (2025)
Touch of the Frozen Heart (2025)
Peace & Love (2024)
Ye Cheng: Reborn (2024)
