as much as i liked the first part, i think this has the issue that most other romance dramas has whereas the plot kinda gets redundant after the main couple get together. nothing really keeps the interest so they throw in some cliche tropes to keep the episode count. i just wish it was more than that, but that's a flaw of the genre i think. i really liked their chemistry, their story and everything else but i found myself having to force myself to finish the drama once they had confessed
maybe this would have been better if i binged it instead of waiting every single week for a new episode. it was still quite enjoyable though! seeing jisoo do horror was a delight, i think action/horror is something she should explore more. it really suits her
personally i really enjoyed this! would i have liked this with other actors? maybe not, because i think it's definitely the cast that brought out the story for me in this. i can't really pinpoint why i enjoyed it so much but something felt so compelling while watching, unraveling not just the story but also the characters, why relationships break apart, how to let go of the past… just a lot of things that i thought this drama did well and also showed that it's not easy to move on. really great watch for me, i enjoyed it and i enjoyed the performances of gong yoo and hyun jin especially!
this was really fun to watch, i enjoyed it a lot. yes, i had problems with them making it into a murder mystery AGAIN but it didn't take away much from the romance and i'm so thankful they didn't make doha and seolhee break up for no reason so that's an instant +1 in my book. for me this was just an easy watch, great to bring me back from a drama slump and filled that happy drama hole i had in my heart. i will miss this drama a lot actually
I actually liked the ending because it gave Hyunwoo and Dojun the justice they both deserved and it would not have felt as good to see Soonyang go down if it wasn't from the direct perspective of Hyunwoo I think. It was also a good moment to show that there is a difference between being born into wealth and being poor in terms of the power you have, Dojun had a lot of smooth sailing in the show (despite setbacks because of company politics) while Hyunwoo came back, completely powerless and was lucky to have people with power who could help him.
It ended well enough for me, while I still wish we got to see more of the relationships Dojun had built in his life and him meeting them again or just simply a funeral scene for Dojun or something like that but still – this ending made sense for me, even though it leaves more to be desired. Didn't ruin the entire experience of this drama for me at all, and I would still consider it one of the best dramas I've seen this year personally.
it had a few up and downs but i still enjoyed this a lot, gayoung and jingoo has amazing chemistry and that alone made it worth to watch! going to miss watching this weekly definitely
i wish there was more closure, but at the same time – the ending is really fitting to what this drama was. gonna miss this show a lot and think about it too, from time to time ♡
while it was exciting at a lot of points, i didn't find the characters too compelling and didn't root for them to catch the bad guy. the ending was kind of lacklustre too, but i still enjoyed the movie for what it was. a very easy watch if you are into these kinds of movies
