I agree with you on the 5 day wait and was given a somewhat underwhelming battle, but just to appease me,I told myself that the focus of the drama was the love story. Plus the fact that someone once mentioned here that this is actually a non high budget drama and so they need to choose priorities on what to squeeze on a 36 episode series. So that considered I think production is still doing a great job on giving us enough.
As for the bracelet , in my opinion DFQC didnt know orchid was going to sacrifice herself, remember the part where he told Xu Feng "keep an eye on her" I think he was giving him permission to talk to her to say words that will make her hate him more after their confrontation to remove the bracelet, but both he and Xu feng didnt expect Orchids willingness to sacrifice herself. So when Xu feng told him he failed He was telling him he was not able to remove the bracelet.
On a lighter note, did anybody noticed the Arbiters gown passed through the flaming candle but didnt catch fire😂? For a moment there I was like...hey lady the hem of your gown will catch fire😂😂😂

I am praying for the will power to really wait till Monday before watching this because based on the latest previews it'll be hard for me not to binge watch the last 6 episodes in one go!!!!
