Retrograde Amnesia???? Come on SERIOUSLY??? Oh my... I know I shouldn't but I am hating Anna so much. I know its the plot of the story but FL is crazy stupid for asking ML to even take care of Anna I mean... hello... will anybody be that naive in real life??? Oh well, I vent out my complaints but still hooked on watching.
Its sad that ratings are getting low, probably because of the turn of events in the story which should really affect it because the cinematography and acting are quite good.
I am officially ADDICTED to Johnny Huang I know this will be a great movie But I wish it was a drama with atleast 20+ episodes instead. I like this kind of feel good rom-coms but it being less than 2hrs is simple to short for me
Oh I was so looking forward to Eden Zhao as male lead but with the same personality he portrayed in Le Coup de Foudre. (he almost stole the show from the lead there)
But I will give this one a try and hopefully it will not disappoint...
dropped. the ml's acting is so boring. he is the same way in real life. how did he become an actor? lmfao
I think it is required by the scene and story as his personality, If you push forward the later episodes will give you slight changes in his expression. This is actually a very good drama, one of my favorites.
on Ep 18, and so far so good. Like many I have watched the other versions and is favoring the Korean version until this one came along. Both ML and FL are delivering their best on each frame, I feel that their natural acting (except the exaggerated ones probably required for comical effect. ) are very relatable. The chemistry between this two is undenyable. Even the supporting characters are great.
If you are hesitating to watch because you've seen the story over and again, I say still give this one a try. It will give you a fresh take of the story.
The hardest part to take so far is the waiting time for the next episodes to come. I just hope the production will not make the common Cdrama mistake of either dragging the story or making it feel rushed in the end. I have high hopes for this one.
The story was well presented. Scenes were shot with precise angles to capture the actors expressions.
I like the progression of the love story that is pure and innocent. The chemistry and sweetness is believable among teen lovers, viewers can relate to the two leads. Friendship/ Family angle among supporting casts are refreshing to watch and are not considered fillers. Xiao MiaoMiao did great in this drama but I am pretty sure many viewers are hooked up in seeing ML Edward Lai more, he did amazing considering this is his 1st lead role.
Overall 9/10 for me, Congratulations to the production staff and Actors for a job well done.
Watch this only if you want to pass time by and has none lined up yet for you to watch. Do not put your expectations and hopes up for this one, despite FL did great with PYHOMS she could not carry this one on.

It could have cut unnecessary scenes that dragged this drama down, moreover they could have hyped up on the chemisry of both leads that might salvage this.
I actually dont mind Cliche scenes, audience starting this dramsa expects it anyways (in my opinion)
I was able to finish this drama because of the amazing ML and the KK crew, but I have to agree to the other comments, they could have chosen a better FL for the role, there are times its hard to watch her in one frame with Li Xian.
There are times I like the bestfriend better than the lead, I was happy that her chemistry with mi xiai fei is amazing. They could actually have their own drama in the future and i'd watch it.
Overall it was worth it and I enjoyed it 8.5/10 for me
The chemistry between the ML❤️ FL is just amazing. FL looks innocent and charming. But ML is just perfect for the role it looks so natural. Those eyes... I just lost my heart when he started ***crying.
Exited to watch him as Samurai X lead. But I hope he gets to make more ROM-COM's like this one. Its quite refreshing to watch. I'd definately rewatch this
