I don't get the cha-cha-cha of this series' name, hence if i could choose 3 words to replace them it will be Hometown…
the three cha (car in korean) 1st cha: Dushik's car accident which brought him back to Gongjin 2nd cha: Hyejin's car which broke down the night she was about to leave Gongjin 3rd cha: Ji PD's car in which he took a wrong turn and ended up in Gongjin
all these cars led to seaside village and its people aka the Hometown. Somehow it does makes sense by the end of it, doesn't it?
I think Hometown cha cha cha will be my personal drama version of what Gam Ri was to Du Shik. I can still hear and imagine all the Gongjin people hustling and bustling about, I don't think the realisation of its end has sunk in yet...so just for a little while longer, I'm going to keep this wholesome drama around me.
Agreed π¬ I am gawking/memorising SMA bridal wear in Tomorrow With You, gonna imagine she wearing that in today's…
Exactly Shin Min-ah's curvaceous body and that droolworthy physique of hers deserved the best not some gaudy get-up that too, on her wedding?? the designers aren't doing justice at all π£
It's going to be the finale today and the third lottery mystery still remains unsolved, and well, I'm putting my money on Gam Ri, she won the prize cash and most probably wrote it off to Du Shik in her will. I'm guessing the preview scene where Du Shik can be seen sobbing like crazy is him, while reading the will or her letter dedicated to him?
Its a beautiful story, funny, i cant stop watching, i hope there is a happy ending in which this couple stays…
Yes Hometown cha cha cha has been a very wholesome watch and seeing the preview for the finale I'm anticipating a happy ending for our Du Shik *fingers crossed*
The fact that when everyone was confused as to what to think about Du Shik and how to go about it all, Sung Hyun miles apart was busy defending Du Shik despite being connected to the ordeal personally. Technically he was the first person to say it's not Du Shik's fault. Ji PD is hands down the best second lead ever! Always putting others first (especially Du Shik). ShikHye is great but these two have evolved into the most unexpectedly beautiful relationship.

Du Shik is one fine male lead right? β€ Also that's just them bantering like old couples moreover, that underlying attraction was not exactly well hidden π
Unfortunatelly they are making Dali into someone so...dull? Frustrating. She needs to save indebted gallery, but…
Okay I geddit, like she went inside and saw someone clearly snooping around, went into shock and could hardly think of what to do or not but ffs the least she could have done was switch those lights on! To at least be able to get a view of the snooper and protect herself against that person if they tried to hurt her (which they did). I was literally tapping away on the switchboard thru screen for her. Very frustrating, that scene.
I've never seen or come across a drama like this. It's very refreshing. I usually don't watch dramas like this…
Okay you just summed up my entire Homecha watching experience right here! This drama was every bit of heartwarming and healing as it claimed to be right? And about Du Shik's past, I had been theorising the same as you but there was this constant nagging thought that Du Shik wouldn't have fell for Hye Jin the way he did from the very get go if he previously had a family. It did not make sense for his character arc and the writers did a fine job at keeping us viewers thinking but still sticking to the logical end of things and I, for one cannot be more relieved, the baby and wife plot would have complicated the sweet, first love feeling between our ShikHye.
I totally geddit, am still not able to come in terms with the fact that this will be the last week of the drama! I've gotten a bit attached to the whole Gongjin vibe and it'll be so hard to let go... And no no, let's have happy thoughts only tvn knows better than to play with Kim Seon Ho's character again. *Manifesting for a happy ending and a happy ending only*
