He's a good actor - I understand he has a theatre background. I definitely gravitate towards dramas with at least…
Tomorrow With You does not has Kim Seon Ho in it so am not entirely sure why you mentioned it here, it has got Lee Je Hoon with Shin Mina though the actress was seen with KSH in Homecha and the director as well as half of its cast is common so I can understand the confusion.
Of course you're entitled to your opinion but when you're not even willing enough to give his best works a try where he's actually leading it and has won a Baeksang award due to it, then you probably should not underestimate him in any manner whatsoever that too, on a article that is supposedly his fan guide when you can't support that "opinion" of yours with any proper base.
Reading about and actually watching and experiencing his finer works especially in which he actually gets the screen time is a whole lot different thing I would say.
When you haven't watched him and much of his work then you really shouldn't decide if he's a mediocre actor or a brilliant one, should you? After all, one can't be judgemental about celebrity based on just his/her looks. I suggest watching at least half of their filmography is the way to go about it.
Simultaneously watching 18 Again just to remind myself that Lee Do Hyun can also be a happy and normal highschooler who isn't silently suffering from all ends. Although, the guy does have a tendency to fall for noonas and ahjummas every time!
I have studied a bit of psychology and I think the portrayal of both leads are totally believable and platonic.…
My thoughts precisely! The intellectual allure of the characters and the pensive plot is undeniably high to the point of tempting viewers like me who tbh, belong to the 2+2=5 brigade to read mathematical essays and look up examples of fractal patterns.
Romance, at this point, seems to be a mere umbrella tag under which the show appears to be operating to attract more viewers.
Me reverse-watching Lee Do Hyun's breakout role in 18 Again after seeing him in his currently airing drama Melancholia. So basically following the theme of this show 🙈

Exactly! Yoon-Su's depiction has so far been nothing but true to the character of an enthusiastic but fair maths teacher who is simply overjoyed to come across a genius student who shares her passion for the subject. As a daughter of a mathematician who isn't mentally stable anymore, we can understand her extra motivation to make sure that Seung-Yoo's talents do not go wasted.
However, instead of getting dissappointed, most of the viewers are rather disgusted by the idea of romance between the teacher and student, going as far as to brand it pedophilia. Hopefully a 4-year leap will make things easier for both the series and its viewers.
For someone as unloved and emotionally detached as Seung-Yoo to receive as much attention and acceptance as he has been getting by Yoon-Su, the show's portrayal of the traumatized genius developing romantic feelings for his mentor seems completely realistic.
For those who have studied clinical psychology, it's a common occurrence for the troubled patients to fall for their therapists (it's called Positive Transference) because they have never had that warmth and acceptance from someone, and the taste of it is now intoxicating.
Yoon-Su's presence and guidance in Seung-Yoo's life has been nothing less than therapeutic so far which makes him falling for her totally okay.
everyone be like "I'd never fall in love with a man who loves math, not my type" until they meet a boy who can: solve a Rubik's cube within a spare second, draw out math problems on a toilet mirror or prove seemingly impossible theories like a piece of a cake
Now,I am again mad at that 🐍🐍, we could have seen our seonho happily holding his 2 awards and thanking shhds…
😭😭😭 What wouldn't I give to ge to see that blissful moment. If someone would have said that I'll be craving for someone's award winning speech as if my life depends on it, I would have straight outta laughed on their face but look at me now 😩💔
These two awards aren't just award. It's a proof that Seon Ho got his fandom's back. I remember the rumor of him…
This was beautiful 💚 SeonHo really does deserve all the love he gets from his fans cause I know I still listen to his heartfelt song that he dedicated to us Seonhohodas, the guy really knows how to reciprocate those feelings of absolute adoration and yes, these awards are just a way of letting him know that we got his back no matter what, he just needs time to heal from within and out and hopefully will come back stronger than ever cause we all be waiting with bated breath!
Wow. I really love your review. You clearly speak what is in my mind. The OST are so wonderful, making the feeling/emotion…
Exactly! This show has really been a gem in almost all depts and truly lived up to its theme of art & aesthetics. I'm glad we share the same opinions on it! Thanks for reading and appreciating the review :)
