Title My Stand-In Spoiler
I root for Ming and Joe ending up together, not because it's a beautiful positive love story that helps both sides move forward or has any meaningful message. It's none of the above. I support this messy couple to have a happy ending just because they have to be together. If not Joe, no one could ever love Ming for exactly who he is: manipulative, obsessive, and possessive. And Joe will never love anyone as much as he does Ming.

Title My Stand-In Spoiler
Ming & Joe getting together again may not be considered a happy ending to some viewers (definitely not to Sol), but it is to Joe. The guy is down bad for Ming. He died, came back, saw his own corpse, attended his own funeral, but the moment Ming said the word “love”, he was ready to forget everything. Both Joe and Ming need to get slapped hard to wake up from this messy love affair.

Title My Stand-In
Ming seems to be hated by almost everyone. And his douchebaggery is toned down A LOT compared to his novel counterpart. If Ming were depicted exactly as he is in the novel, I bet most viewers would quit after like 2 episodes (I surely would) while imagining trapping him to a boulder and then yeeting said boulder off the nearest river.

Any devine entities just give me some strength to finish this series! I'm on ep 8 and I can't force myself to go on. I knew from the beginning that “Cooking Crush” wouldn't be as good as “Not Me”. I even expected it to be bad. But I told myself that even if everything else sucked, at least Gun's acting would be great. Boy, was I wrong! The same actor that made Black and White so different just with his eyes looks like he doesn't want to be there in “Cooking Crush”.
I love Gun so much that I sit through both seasons of “Puppy Honey”. “Cooking Crush” is just so boring and uneventful that 1 hour feels like 2. At least some stupid drama happens in “Puppy Honey”.
And whoever films the kiss scenes in that angle should be fired. Off looks like he's about to break his neck. My own neck hurts just watching them kiss.
On Dangerous Romance Sep 24, 2023
This series should be called “Flashbacks the series”. I don't really need to be reminded of a scene that happened like 2 minutes ago.

I swear almost all of the episodes of this series go like this: Khatha gets beaten up and cries in his fancy suits, and Dome just faints his screen time away.
Half of the budget must have gone to Khatha's wardrobe. The dude always looks like he's in a fashion show. One of the things I look forward to is what Khatha's gonna wear in his next appearance.

Title Lovely Writer Spoiler
The scene in episode 8 when Gene tells Nubsib off for ordering him to keep away from Aoey is so great! How much I hate the trope in BL where one half of the pair is so overprotective of the other half that he treats him like a child who needs being watched over all the time. I don't find it cute or romantic at all. Gene is a grown-up. He doesn't need anyone, much less a younger guy, to tell him what he should or shouldn't do. I wish I could jump into the screen and give Gene a bravo when he put Nubsib in his place.
Whatever rating I'll give at the end of this series, it'll all go to Gene for being such a good character, and to Up for his wonderful performance as Gene.

Title 2gether Spoiler
I dropped this series halfway through, just because of the acting. Especially Bright, he is okay with lighthearted scenes. But when it comes to more dramatic ones, his facial expression just makes me laugh. Even his pretty face can't distract me from his acting.
Win is a bit better though. He's not very good, but at least I didn’t bust out laughing when his character is sad.

Title TharnType Spoiler
Tharn sexually molested Type while Type was drunk. I was about to quit, but I was also curious of why this series was rated so high, so I decided to skim through the rest of the episodes in 30 minutes. And then I found out that douchebag Lhong was easily let off after having Tar gang-raped, almost hitting Type with a brick... So, 1/10.

Title Theory of Love Spoiler
I don't know about you, but I don't like that the series may be giving hints that Un likes Two. In the novel, Un is like a cute plot twist to Khai and Third's story. If the series makes the audience think that Un has feelings for Two, then the surprise of Un's future role in Khai and Third's relationship would be much less interesting.

Title Theory of Love Spoiler
What I especially like about this series is they actually made Gun cry every episode which his character, Third,…
I feel the same.
Some aspects of the adaptation might have gone a bit too far compared to the novel (for example, how Khai treats Third), but Third's crying is one of the things that stay true to the original. As far as I remember, he cries almost every chapter, so it's understandable that Gun has to cry that much. Gun totally gives life to his character.

Title Method Spoiler
I'll give this film 5 out of 10. And all those 5 points go to Oh Seung Hoon, who tried his best with that mediocre script. “Method” has an interesting premise but the execution is really bad. Throughout the movie, my only question was: Is that it? Every scene went by so fast that I didn't have time to know what was actually going on. They tried to cram too many things into such a short movie. I think if the movie focus on just one character, either Jae Ha or Young Woo, it would have been better. After finishing the movie, I knew basically nothing about those two. Well, such a waste of good premise and talented actors.
