actors n writers flawlessly portrayed hoh chars. this heals my inner hoh teen self. the japanese drama didnt filter or sugarcoat our disability struggles. thank you thank you thank you for not treating our disability like a mere plot device. i feel seen and validated. its really great! tachi and kohei are meant for eo. perfect/perfect

gradually lost my hearing in my teen years due to bacterial infection. i can relate to hoh characters so much. so much that i cry every ep. im a combination of kohei and maya. i was always alone and angry. i cursed people around me. i lost interest in my hobbies. i lost trust on people. i was so insecure bc of my disability that i dropped out of school for 2 years. but thats in the past now. i mature. i accepted my disability. joining a hoh community helped me tremendously. watching this beautiful japanese drama brought back all memories in the best possible way. interestingly enough i accidentally played this on iqiyi but its the best accident ever.
