Wonderful movie- the message might not have been original, but the way it was delivered along with the stellar acting, (Takeru is a real life acting angel) directing, photography and music, was nothing short of amazing.
p.s how cute the postman had his beautiful cat in his phone wallpaper, thought that was a really nice touch!
I'm just gonna leave this here, in case anybody wonders about the (slight or not slight) changes between a few scenes from the original script and what made it to the series.
This is such a great series- a little faith, a little trust and a whole lot of teamwork can do miracles! The best 2016 drama spring hands down, and one of my fav series ever.
JU-HAN SHU-TTAI! JU-HAN SHU-TTAI! (what a dance! ;P)
It hurts me a little to see how under appreciated this drama is. This drama isn't for people to leisurely watch.…
It's a slow ride but it's the best kind of slow where the subtlety reigns; one will either love those drama series or find them boring, there's no in between. (sadly or not)
hmm....I also feel the opinion of others, like I don't know why I'm still watching this, I didn't say it's bad…
"I still don't know why the title is like that, someday when I recall this love I will surely cry."
It's a reference to what Oto said in episode five; that she was happy to have loved Ren and the time they shared was irreplaceable and radiant, so much that one day when she will think back at that certain time, she will "cry".
I just don't get it. The last episode made me realize I under understood what Yamaneko was all about and why the…
Because it was fun playing vigilantes and taking down the bad guys. (albeit, Yamaneko's goal was different but in the end it aligned with others'- it was simply fun having their own little group doing shenanigans.)
What a masterpiece! You think Yamaneko would be a fun show with action and humour but it was very deep, and dealt greatly with the companionship theme. 10/10 without a doubt!

I thought so, your username felt familiar.
Soredemo was a masterpiece btw, one of my favorite (and best) dramas I have ever watched.
Sakamoto is such a genius writer- apart from the heartfelt scenes he can write effortlessly, his series are always filled with amazing quotes. (another trait that Itsukoi had in abundance!)

Konatsu and Haruta were kinda assholes but they were telling the truth in that episode- even if it was not their place to do (especially in that way.) They had some growing up to do, and I'm glad they did that together, helping and supporting each other along the way.
By the way, were you the one that commented in Still Life Goes On entry in dramajjang?

It all ties up to the letter her mother wrote her before she passed away; everything her mother wished for her, Oto found in Ren only.
I loved all the characters (even though, it did take me some time to warm up to Konatsu&Haruta, but I did; their last scene together was so pure and innocent) and I'm glad everyone got their share of happiness in the end.

My favorite of the season along with Yamaneko.
p.s Arimura bashers to the left, she did a great job in this role.
