Healer and KMHM were the best dramas though- it's one of those cases were the popularity is actually not misguided!
It's a beautifuuuul feeeeeling, congrats Healer, you've earned it!

Best Comedy Drama for Date is pretty accurate though! It was the best one, hands down.

And as much as I love Oguri, Takeru gave the performance of a lifetime in TnR- actually TnR might arguably have been the best drama of the last couple years. Anyways, to each his own. ;)

Totally agree; music can elevate a great show to an even greater one.
Generally, Remember has a brilliant score.

Title Remember: War of the Son Spoiler
Honestly, I don't like where the story is going. Jin Woo's character was supposed to be smart and the end of the…
But I thought that was the point; he can't possibly do everything alone, he will eventually start making mistakes. He will have to team up with In Ah (and hopefully) and Dong Ho.

A true masterpiece on all aspects.

Takeru gave an unforgettable performance! My hat's off to everyone involved on making this outstanding series.

Title Innocent Thing Spoiler
This film was okay for me. From reading the comments, it seems like my opinion is going to be the more unpopular…
The main problem was like you said, the lack of characterization where you couldn't connect with any of them really; the snaily pace didn't help either.

(btw, is your username a reference to Yazawa's manga Nana?)

She is an absolute sweetheart, and even though I don't follow that closely all the Kpop buzz lately as I used to, she remains my favorite idol- probably because apart from her amazing voice, she's such a great actress as well!

Couldn't agree more- everything you said feels so spot on. Such an elegant, beautiful story.
(love your adorable Eun-ji profile pic btw!)

Haha, it would be a good idea!
A Johan figurine would be as sweet as a Chucky doll for a gift, loool

(but damn if Monster isn't a flawless series; like, literally flawless.)

My favorite 2014 drama! Very intelligent script, wonderful cast, awesome music and great messages echoing throughout the impulsiveness of youth and uprightness of the adults.

What a lovely drama that was; so subtle yet powerful, in describing the mundane life most people lead and how it should be appreciated.

I just realized I haven't watched any Japanese drama in 2015, I better find something to watch before the year…
Date, Okitegami Kyoko no Biboroku, I'm Home, Ouroboros, Okashi No Ie would be a good start! ; )
If I had to pick only one for the next 3 days till new year, that would be...hum, probably Okitegami or Date.

Even though the last episode had certain issues ("suspension of disbelief" needed to be level 99 in order to swallow some things!) it was a very decent suspense drama!

I enjoyed this drama and honestly I don't get why there was so much hatred for Takane's character, I actually…
You have to get past the first 3 episodes in order to appreciate Takane, but once you do, there's no going back! (SasuSaku ftw btw!)

Such an enjoyable, funny, touching series with a very subtle yet powerful OTP! (my Legal High 2 ship came to life through AU lol)

I'd love to see a SP or a season 2 (both very unlikely) but the ending left me more than satisfied so it is all right either way. My number (number number number!) 1 series the last couple months!

I tend to give dramas that I recap a higher rating than I normally would, what with watching twice the episodes and such; 5ji was probably an 7.5- 8 in my book objectively, but some parts of the latest episodes were so ridiculously hilarious, that I give it an 8.5 wholeheartedly!

Now give us a SP with Takane and Junko "bickering" about every little thing and Momoe's adventures in BL conventions along with Arthur!
