aww this was the perfect little watch. Considering this was a first role for most of the cast they smashed. I grinned most of the way through it and it will definitely become a comfort re-watch. honourable mention for those kisses!! swooooon
ok but was anyone else just overjoyed at some of the translation notes? like the 'a close up of a lemon soda bottle for some reason' took me out! add to that the texts about the money and the meeting going on about science stuff 😆
you know, I'm going against the consensus here, I loved this series. after a really long drought and not being able to watch anything, this caught me from the beginning. I'm a big fan of the trope in general so maybe that helped and although I wasn't a big ZeeNuNew fan I am now (I also adore JimmyOhm and can't wait to see what they do next) I hope like me people give it a chance on their own merits and aren't guides by these reviews/comments. we seem to have stopped enjoying things for what they are and expect Bafta/Emmy award winning series. I think the main problem here is that it was hyped so much before it even came out, that it just leads to disappointment because it could never have lived up to it. anyway.. I give it a 10, because it entertained me in all the right ways and my dopamine hit was satisfied.
were there a TON of plot holes? yes did I still enjoy it? oh yes this is one of the series I'd been waiting for the most and it felt like forever to come. I love Joss/Gawin's chemistry and honestly without them and Mond I probably would have dropped it because of the plot holes but I'm not disappointed that I stayed for them. overall it was an enjoyable watch for me, I laughed, cried, cringed - what more can I ask for? still reeling from Tonkla and Nakan dying and poor Mrs Wan. I feel like some of that was unnecessary but I do like the overall message and I am a suckered for a happy ending. there seems to be a lot of pressure on BLs lately to be perfect but honestly enjoyable is enough for me. I gave it a 9.
I'm on episode 4 and I'm so confused. I usually have a good grasp on things like this but I'm so confused about what happened on exam day and between Juyoung and Coach. if anyone could help me out I'd be grateful!
can anyone help? I just started and as always come to see what people think. A lot have mentioned stopping at episode 10 but I only have 10 episodes available on HiTv so am I safe? 😅
I loved this show and definitely wish it was longer. I actually really liked how it ended for the second couple. If they had got together none of their issues would have been resolved it would have just been fan service. This way we're left with hope for them. I would a second series spin off though!
