The love story of the 2nd leads felt so unnecessary, that's true, but if it ended up unconnected to the main storyline…
As much as I love days, I agree that the love triangle seems to be disconnected from the main plot. It's like we're watching a side drama. But I have faith there's a purpose for that story later on and how it will affect our main couple's story. I think the writer should have given more of the love triangle plot to the deity's storyline or even the brother which are more interesting characters.

It might have higher ratings if it had the weekend timeslot but too late now. I also wonder why they gave days the monday and tuesday timeslots but let's just be happy it still topped last week's good data next only to penthouse 3 which I think has a huge following in korea. And international fans love days so let's keep supporting the drama until the end.

So does that mean you only based a show's quality on high ratings? Ratings are not everything. I can name some dramas that have high ratings which I dropped after episode 1 or 2. Tbh I am disappointed with days ratings because it deserves so much more than it is getting but this drama also airs on a streaming platform in korea at the same time. It's top 1 btw in that streaming platform. And topping the good data says a lot about the show because it means people are talking about it.
Another emotional episode although this one is a bit calmer than the last. I love that we got to see mm's pov about what his life was like before he met dk. And that "I love you" at the end of the episode surprised me but made me happy too. He's being honest with his feelings knowing they have limited time together. And I guess this episode pretty much confirm that the goddess is really like his mom who created him to provide balance on earth.

True! Some of them still watch the drama despite not liking it. Talk about being masochists. Like why would you still keep watching if you hate the plot, the characters or the writer. And yes! The last 2 eps got me bawling. They were so emotional!

This drama just keeps getting better and better. Just when I though I loved episode 7, I watched episode 8 and loved it even more! The leads' chemistry is pure magic! Can't wait for the next episodes!!

I agree. It's hard to find actors with strong chemistry such as theirs. Even if the story is good, some actors don't have the right kind of chemistry to make you feel the emotions of the characters. I'm happy that these two actors were casted. They really fit their roles.

It's really strange. It has a lot of buzz on ig and the youtube views are really high. Maybe it has something to do with the time slot. Anyways, some of the best kdramas such as my mister and beyond evil did not have high ratings either but I still love them. I guess it really has to do with preference.

I just found out that the writer of this drama used to be kim eun sook's assistant writer both for goblin and dots. No wonder I'm seeing some kim shin/sijin and euntak/dr.kang vibes from the personalities of our leads. So if we can infer from goblin, the leads there also had some sort of contract and lived together both for different purposes. BUT is it possible that there can also be a wedding here? Since goblin had one. I'm intrigued with the red bracelet, I feel that if the red bracelet gets broken, the contract might be broken too. This is because the deity/goddess wants to touch it in the bus stop.

I guess because it airs on Mondays and Tuesdays, knetz are busy with work and school. I agree that this should have been vincenzo's replacement. I love how you explained dk and mm's characters. Both of them are so intriguing and so many back stories to exlpore especially from mm's past. Could it be that mm used to be human and the deity just erased his memories? I also feel that they have some sort of connection in the past. Dk's parents' death anniversary happens to be mm's "birthday." And they are kind of yin and yang in so many ways to which is perfect for one of the drama's themes about needing balance. They are also connected with the red string of fate I think. I also don't think their romance is rushed. They are slowly falling for each because they are like two halves of a whole and are similar in so many ways. Ahhhh i love this drama so much! It's really a good balance of melo, comedy, fantasy and romance.
