I just couldn't get why yul wants to not save himself especially now that he knows that there's really a way for the blood parasite to be taken out. I love yul in part 1 but I just couldn't get some of his decisions in part 2. At least so i was consistent with her selfless love and wanting to save him. I know she is the reason why yul even has the blood parasite but she did it to save him in the only way she knows how. She went back to jinmu so she could give yul medicine for the pain but he stopped taking them for reasons unknown and then he consistently didn't want to even try to save himself. Like why?? Did he feel guilty for what happened to naksu? Why must it be at the expense of his own life? So i is such a tragic character who died to save the person she loves. I'm still glad because yul cared for her and wanted to save and protect her. Good thing jang uk came to save yul so hope he still survives..
For some reason, I can't ship Yul with So-i. Not speaking about chemistry alone (which I think they sadly lack),…
I agree that chemistry is subjective because I can see chemistry with them. I think so i is redeemable and she only does that to survive and help yul survive. Yul can still end up alone in the end and that will be fine because I'm 100% sure he will not end up with naksu. So there are three options for him: he dies, he ends up with so i or someone new or he ends up alone. The hong sisters are known for relationship set ups and character build up and there's a reason why so i's plot is connected with yul. There's 50/50 chances here so let's just wait and see.

So i is more of a grey character and jinmu is definitely the main villain. So i'll be fine if yul ends up with her. She has always protected him. I don't want yul to fall with naksu again. He has been through so much pain in part 1. And we don't have many options lol. May endgame as of now: Jang uk/naksu Dang gu/choyeon Yul/so i Park jin/maidservant kim Crown prince/turtle
If you watched master's sun, the second male lead ended up with the bitchy female lead too so it's possible for the hong sisters to use that trope again.
Jang uk falling in love with her soul all over again is just beautiful to watch. And buyeon/naksu is so adorable every episode! It's too long to wait for another week but it's just heartwarming to see jang uk falling for buyeon without knowing that she's naksu. The whole scene with the bugs lighting her path was also amazing. The hong sisters flipping the yin/yang dynamics this time around was pure genius!
On a side note, am I the only one who wants yul to be happy with so i? I hope he doesn't die. I think so i only went back to jinmu so she can get medicine for yul and to save him.
Part 2 episode 1 or should I say episode 21 exceeded my expectations! I loved it! Love how all the characters changed since we last saw them because of the time jump of 3 years. Naksu's scenes at the beginning reminded me of rapunzel. But you can tell that her personality as naksu is still there. I thought at first buyeon might be inside her body but I'm thinking that she really is naksu and not a soul shifter. I think the bracelet has some power to make her forget her past. And I love the chemistry between her and jang uk. In the restaurant scene, I remember how they used to banter before. And that scene at the end! Just the perfect way to end the episode. So many parallels with their relationship in part 1 but so many new things too. Can't wait for episode 2! Amazing start!
Yay! They both accepted and my dream pairing has officially come true! The plot already sounds interesting. Would the crisis involve the company getting bankrupt or something? Kim ji won will slay the heiress role! Can't wait for kim ji won's heiress outfits and her chemistry with kim soo hyun. Both are already compatible in looks and talent!
I'm almost done with the webtoon. It's really good and I'm excited for the drama adaptation. I think cha eunwoo can pull this off. As for the female lead, I think kim jiwon would be perfect! She's a really good actress and can do fun and quirky. She's also really pretty. And she loves dogs! Can't wait for the cast announcement for the other roles as well.
How come so-i is still alive when she already gave that freaking disgusting worm to Yul? Didn't Jin mu say she…
So i gave that to yul to save him since he was already losing blood and there's a possibility that he could have died if she didn't do it. She knew that the blood worm is dangerous but she took the risk to save his life. And about the possibility of a love line between them? Hong sisters might go that way. In some of their previous dramas, they usually pair up the second male lead with another girl so second lead will also be happy. Since yul's arc in part 2 might be about the blood worm, so i will have scenes with him since she was the one who gave it to him. I'd rather see that than push with the love triangle. If there will be a love triangle in part 2, it might be between jang uk, naksu and crown prince.
What an ending! Real naksu is coming back for part 2. Good thing it's airing in december. Preview looks great! I knew jang uk is still alive because he already has the ice stone so he will be really powerful in part 2. And jin mu activating assassin naksu was great to see even though it was tragic to see mudeok 'kill' jang uk. And love to see real naksu coming back to her body. I hope they don't go for the amnesia plot. Question..does jang uk know what real naksu looks like? Forgot about it. I know yul knows her real face but not so sure about jang uk. So glad I didn't drop this. Hong sisters always start strong and finish their dramas with a bang but the middle parts of their dramas sometimes feel like fillers. Episode 19 and 20 made up for those boring fillers that could have easily been cut. Still a great drama though. And I can already see the chemistry between jang uk and real naksu in the previews. Can't wait to see them together.
ok but if it was that easy for soyi to get rid of the blood worm then why would she not do it sooner lmao it kind…
I think she just thought about giving it to yul now because that is the only way to save him. She didn't think of doing it before since the situation never made her think she could do it. Yul was in danger of dying and she is the only person she cares about so she took it upon herself to give the blood worm.
The queen slayed this episode. She was really good in delivering all those emotions. The actress playing her deserve a nomination for best supporting actress. Her performance was amazing.
The whole party was so cringe especially the ticking bombs which turned out to be clocks. So original. The funny thing is, that's not even the book! In the book, Kamol just stole Mr. Chen's clients. Here we don't have Mr. Chen so I think Danail will be the main villain until the end. The whole kidnapping scene was so poorly executed. The only thing I liked about was the part where after Kamol saved Kim, he touched his injured lip and mentioned some romantic lines. I think that was one of yoon's best scenes so far.
The whole English speaking scene is so funny! It was so obvious that Yoon was so awkward in speaking his English lines. It came out so weird considering his lines were shorter compared to his Korean lines. Why did he sound more fluent in Korean than he did in English?
I wish they included Kim getting jealous about Kamol's past with call boys rather than the cringe party. But happy they included the tiger scene of kamol petting whipped cream from the novel because that was one part that was obvious that kim has started falling for kamol already. I also liked the part in the bar which was in the book too.
For me, episode 5 was still better compared to this episode..but judging from the preview of ep. 7, I think they will follow the novel very closely until the end. Can't wait to see danil.
So I just finished reading the novel. I really don't see the point of adding cherry. It doesn't make any sense. Kamol completely likes boys so he would never be interested in cherry no matter how hard she tries. And it's out of character for kamol to bring in his circle someone who is related to one of his fiercest rivals in the mafia industry.
Other than that, the series is staying true to the events in the novel so far. Episode 5 is my fave episode and I'm so glad they included the tigers scene which is one of my fave scenes from the novel.
Jang uk/naksu
Dang gu/choyeon
Yul/so i
Park jin/maidservant kim
Crown prince/turtle
