i genuinely don't think i know enough words in the english lexicon to explain how bad this movie is and how angry it made me to see such a good novel, a literal masterclass in writing trauma, character bonds and character growth, be turn into such a... i don't even know what this is, an attempt at a cashgrab? an "experimental take"?, they turned down the potential of one of the best shows that could be made into such a disrespectful movie. if i could rate this a 0, i would.
